14.01.2022 JURIEN BAY FORESHORE DEMOLITION WORKS TO COMMENCE NEXT WEEK. The Shire would like to advise that demolition works within Dobbyn Park are due to commence next Tu...esday (20/10/20), in preparation for the start of construction of the Jurien Bay foreshore skate park. All demolition areas will be fenced off, including a section of the Turquoise Way Path, north of the jetty car park area through to the old jetty/reef balls site. The Dobbyn Park toilet block will remain open for use. Following an extensive community consultation process in developing foreshore redevelopment plans for both Jurien Bay and Cervantes, endorsed by Council in March 2020, and the award of tender for the design and construction of a skate park, this is a pivotal moment for our community as we work towards completing the first stage of constructing a new state of the art skate park in Jurien Bay. The Shire envisages minimal disturbance during this process and while residents and visitors to Dobbyn Park can expect some disruptions we would like to take this opportunity to thank the community in advance for your patience as this project progresses through to the construction stage. Any concerns relating to these demolition works can be forwarded to the Coordinator Infrastructure Services on (08) 9652 0800.
