New this time, there will be NO sign on early in the morning on the day of the comp. This is to make it easier for anyone (essentially anywhere) to get involved. Just register at Cervantes Hardware and Marine or at Home Base on the Friday night before the comp and get your bags in at 2pm, simple.... 16.01.2022 We had our presentation dinner on the 23rd. I've been out of action for a while so I was unable to make it and my apologies (from Matt) for how it's taken to get a post up, but here it is. Everyone had a good time with thanks to Mark Lecras at Tackle HQ at All boats for the champion angler prize won by Scott Reynolds. Also thanks to Scottie and Greg who did the spit and organised the food and drinks. Thanks to Cervantes bottle shop for you great donation of a bottle of g...entleman jacks and to Gav for the sea anchor. 15.01.2022 Hey All, here are some photos of our last event over the long weekend. Paul with a very impressive 20.00 kg Dhuie won.... Rod and Reel (Best Fish) thanks Benbow 2x Century Batteries (members top points for their bag)... Rod with a 18 kg Kingfish $500 and a great Cray pot (made by Rhett Milliken... Thanks champ) Grant, Steve and Daniel for Baldie, Dhuie and Snapper draws $100 Door prizes won by Chris and Greg ziggy BBQ and a cricket esky And Hump won the pot... he was happy about that No ladies weighed in and no near shore species were presented Comming up we also have a 2018 grand final Eagles jumper signed by the whole winning team, up for raffle. It will be over the Wa day long weekend 1,2 or 3rd of June either Saturday Sunday or Monday depending on which is the best day for the weather. So.... 5 pm on Friday 30th May we'll open up Home Base and vote on which day is gonna be the best as well as a few refreshments and a catch up.... 10.01.2022 Hey members and guests! We had a great competition and weigh in yesterday. The weather was great and we had 18 boats and 49 registered fishers. Thanks to everyone who came down to see the weigh in with a good turn out for the arvo. Just so it's out there for everyone our comps species prizes are drawn out of the hat.... So that means ANY legal size fish has just as much chance of a win as another... It's not about the biggest so it's fair for everyone. Thanks you all for your support

Tickets available at Cervantes Hardware, outside the shops in Cervantes for the next couple of weekends before Easter. Or see Scottie, Greg or Matt. There's not many tickets so they'll sell fast.

09.01.2022 Hi Members Well it's been a hard road with this COVID-19 I truly hope you're at least OK. With WA government's lifting of restrictions just announced we can have a comp! So in the community spirt our Fin Fishers team are getting a Members Comp together at Home Base on the Sunday of the WA day long Weekend (31st May ) 2020 There will have to be some guidelines adhered to keep everyone safe and comply with the current laws... So. The event will have to be limited to 30 people at the venue (please let us know via return of this email if you and guests are planning to attend) On the day it will have to be first in best dressed, if required unfortunately Everyone will have to stay at least 1.5 meters away from each other per social distancing guidelines You must bring your own food if you want to drink and BYO drinks (Please NO shared plates/platers) All drinks brought to the venue are for the person who brings them only ( Sorry no sharing eskys ) Essentially it's all BYO food and Drinks and social distancing. But we can have our weigh-in a get together and a chat and a great time! Points will still be allocated towards Champion Angler 2020 Gates open 1:45pm (as above first 30 people sorry) Weigh in, as always, bags in by 2:00pm sharp and weigh-in start So what do ya say Peeps? 04.01.2022 Hope all is going well. After a few weeks of breathing after a great day at the club and comp day, I thought you would like to see the great crowd we had. Remember it’s a family oriented club so spread the word and become a member. You get cheaper comp fees and a meal at the end of the year so it pays for itself. Will be great to see you there for the next one
