09.01.2022 Who else has a massive sweet tooth like me?? I’m always looking at how to make my sweets a little bit ‘healthier’, here’s an amazing recipe from @_megphil HEALTHY VEGAN TIM TAMS save this recipe!!! (GF, DF, RSF) For the biscuit you will need:... 1.5 cups plain flour (use buckwheat or GF) 1/4 tsp baking powder 2 tbsp cacao powder 1/2 cup coconut sugar 1/8th tsp vanilla powder 2 tbsp coconut oil 1/4 cup rice malt syrup 1/4 cup almond milk - combine all ingredients in a bowl til a dough forms (may need to add a tiny extra splash of almond milk) -roll onto a floured surface and cut into rectangles of desired size - bake at 180 for 15 min, remove from oven and allow to cool and harden For the chocolate cream you will need: 1 cup dates, soaked in hot water 3 tbsp coconut cream (the bit at the top of the can that is thick) 1 tbsp coconut oil 3tbsp cacao powder - drain the dates and add all ingredients to a blender - blend till smooth -place in the fridge to harden a little Once biscuits are cool, spread some of the cream onto one biscuit and place another on top, coat these in vegan chocolate, I used @loving_earth enjoy! Makes 6 LARGE biscuits (make them whatever size you like)
