24.01.2022 Well done to Harry Elphick on his successful return season to football following from two Knee Reconstructions over the past 2 years. Harry was an integral member of the South Fremantle 'Futures' team this season and tonight was awarded the 'Bulldog Award' for his dedication, performance and commitment to the WAFL development pathway program. Harry is looking forward to a potential invite to train on with the South Fremantle Colts team for the remainder of this year leading up to the 2021 Colts preseason. Harry is also this years CGS AFL/W Academy Ambassador.

13.01.2022 That's a wrap!! The WAFC ran School football competitions have finished this week. Please see the final games results; Year 10-12 Girls Dockers Cup (Intra-District semi-final against Swan Districts zone): La Salle Catholic College defeated CGS (scores TBC)... Year 7-9 Girls Dockers Cup: Mandurah Catholic College 7.4 = 46 defeated CGS 4.2 = 26 Year 8/9 Boys Eagles Cup: CGS 10.2 = 62 defeated Emmanuel Catholic College 3.0 = 18 Well done to all teams throughout this years Dockers and Eagles Cup tournaments. All three teams were good enough to finish 1st overall within the South Fremantle District, with both girls teams winning the Dockers Cup (South Fremantle division) and the boys winning the Eagles Cup (South Fremantle division). 08.01.2022 Term 3 WAFC School Football Competitions update Rd 4 Year 10-12 Girls: CGS 1.6 = 12 defeated by Comet Bay College 5.6 = 36 Year 7-9 Girls: CGS 8.5 = 53 defeated Emanuell Catholic College 3.1 =19... Well done once again to all participants! The year 10-12 Girls have reached the Semi-Finals of the 2020 Senior Girls Dockers Cup. They will play against La Salle College on Monday to try gain a spot in the Grand Final happening in week 9. The year 7-9 girls remain undefeated with one game remaining against Mandurah Catholic College in their Round Robin tournament. If they happen to win that final game next Tuesday, they will be crowned the Year 7-9 South Metro Dockers Cup Champions of 2020! Good luck next week girls!

04.01.2022 Only one week left for any keen students/families to register for the 2021 intake for places into the Girls AFLW Academy. Trials will be held for girls entering year 5, 7 or 10*. All boys spots are filled for 2021. *Current AFLW Academy members have already regained their 2021 place via our recent bi-annual review.

Well done once again to all participants! All teams are travelling along very well and it's great to see all their hard work paying off in competitive matches... Good luck next week
