Likewise on Shabbos everyone has to Daven at home. We will continue to have daily Zoom and Facebook Davening on line excluding Shabbos. We have managed to organise an online Minyan during with Chabad of North Shore in Sydney. There are now no restrictions in numbers of people attending Religious Services providing that there is sufficient social distancing of 2 sq m per person. Masks are now voluntary except for high volume Shopping Centre and Supermarkets. Our Shul is now open for all. At Mincha we will read from the Torah as on other Fast Days, however we will not say Tachnun or Ovinu Malkeinu. The fast will conclude at 9:16 pm and only then can we make the Kiddush for Shabbat. With thanks to Hashem the health situation in Melbourne has greatly improved and the Victorian Government has now reduced restrictions to attend Religious Services. 150 people may attend indoors or 300 outdoor outdoors, providing the social distancing directions are observed. Our Shul is now open for all. It would be appreciated if we can be advised when congregants wish to attend. This Shabbat is Yud Tes Kislev, the Rosh Hashanah of Chassidut and we will have a special Kiddush and Seuda on Shabbat after the conclusion of Musaf services. All are welcome to participate.
