25.01.2022 With all the uncertainty in this world, many of our loved ones losing jobs, being isolated from family and friends and not feeling connected, this results in lots of people genuinely feeling overwhelmed, anxious and/or depressed!! It’s so important that we all start early interventions for our mental health for our selves, our family and friends. There are many things that we can do to whilst we are at home and how we can cope with what is going on. Below is a great article... to help with your mental health during this hard time. Check it out!! Just remember we are all in this together, we are all suffering, but we can all support each other through this hard time and get through it. Remember to choose kindness and look after ourselves and loved ones https://www.beyondblue.org.au//looking-after-your-mental-h

25.01.2022 Wishing you and your family a very Merry and safe Christmas. It’s definitely going to be a very different Christmas for many.. some people get to see family, some have to stay home, some people may be lonely and many will be missing loved ones who have passed. Our thoughts are with all of you, praying that no matter what your circumstances you feel loved and you feel supported on this Christmas Day

24.01.2022 This is a very powerful video, that really does capture the pain of losing a loved one to suicide. Brought tears to my eyes. Please know that if you are in a dark place, that there is help, there are people who understand and that situations, can be temporary not permanent. Trust someone enough to open up to.. YOU ARE NOT ALONE

22.01.2022 For anyone who is interested in Concussion and the Australian Sports Brain Bank.. They have a FREE seminar this Wednesday afternoon, with special guest speakers Dr Chris Nowinski, Dr Michael Buckland and Peter Fitzsimons. We will be attending and supporting their cause and am sure we will learn of a lot up to date information on concussion. For more information and to register to attend please head to www.brainbank.org.au

22.01.2022 Men’s Health Week... This one brought me to tears and hit home Men make up an average six out of every eight suicides every single day in Australia. The number of men who die by suicide in Australia every year is nearly double the national road toll. Suicide detroys people, families and communities. It is the silent killer, that is taking so many lives unnecessarily. We are all part of the solution, starting with ourselves, our kids, our families at home. Today I ask you... all to reflect on how you can do things better at home, how can we communicate better, how can we be more supportive, how can we connect better at home, how can we show each other love and respect, how can we show each other that it’s ok to cry, it’s ok to feel down, it’s ok speak about our feelings, without judgement. No one is perfect, no family is perfect, everyone has their struggles and so do families. Which is why making small steps at home can have a ripple effect into the community. Let’s be the difference together #menshealthweek #suicideprevention

21.01.2022 R U OK ?? A few simple words that could change a persons life. In our current situation in the pandemic, suicide prevention/education is so greatly needed. Suicide is sadly very much on the rise, suicide hotlines use for children and adults is on the rise. So many people are struggling We are all in this together, we all can make a difference and we all can try save a life. We don’t need to be super hero’s, we don’t need to be a dr, but we can be a friend, we can be a mate and we can be a parent. Just the simple words to start a conversation ‘R U OK? ‘. These 4 easy steps make it very simple to help you reach out to someone and start that conversation!! Who are you going to check on today ?? #ruokday #suicideprevention #chadslegacy

20.01.2022 This afternoon we had the pleasure of attending and supporting Dr Michael Buckland and the Australian Sports Brain Bank in their seminar. It was a very informative session, which was highlighted by ASBB Ambassador, Journalist and former Aussie Rugby union player Peter Fitzsimons, Chris Nowinski Founder and CEO of the Concussion Legacy Foundation, also former WWE Wrestler and Former College footballer for Harvard University. Chris brought us all up to date with the research be...ing conducted from the Boston Brain Bank and USA and their findings. Former Australian boxer Jeff Fenech opened up about his struggles with brain injury symptoms and has announced today that he is donating his brain to the Australian Sports Brain Bank. Good on you Jeff !! Congrats to all involved, it’s such a prominent topic in contact sports these days, and you guys are one step closer to helping many many athletes who are suffering from CTE. See more

19.01.2022 Saddened to hear that the late Danny Frawley, tested positive to stage 2 CTE at the time of his death. Another ex athlete who suffered concussion related disease, that would of been a contributing factor to him taking his life.

17.01.2022 I’m guessing most of us all feel so helpless at the moment with how we can help with what we are facing in Australia. Our heart breaks for the people and families who have lost loved ones, lost their houses, lost their livelihoods, for all of our animals and wildlife that have been destroyed and the millions of land/trees that have been burnt out. It is incomprehensible to imagine the pain and suffering. I know we can’t physically go and help but we can all donate to causes ...where the money will go directly to those in need. I have listed some organisations in the 2nd picture, that you can help support!! Lastly but not least, but the most important people ....to every single fire fighter, volunteer fire fighters, volunteers who are helping on the ground to support our fire fighters we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts, we salute you, we praise you and we support you.. what you are facing is unimaginable, and to put your lives at risk to try and save people, houses, our land and wildlife, we are forever grateful #supportourfiries #supportaustralia #supportourmates

15.01.2022 Oct 10 is World Mental Health Day... this year more the ever, majority of people have faced adversity, hardships, pressure and the unknown. These factors play a... huge role in mental health and can have profound effects. One thing I know we all can do and that is show support to one another. There are so many ways we can show support, being there for one another, lending an ear, lending a hand, opening up our hearts and giving what we can. Together we are one and together we can make a difference #worldmentalhealthday #support See more

10.01.2022 Sometimes we all need the reminder, that life can get easier, we can get through the difficult times.. we just have to hold on tight, lean on the ones we love and believe in yourself

08.01.2022 Something for all of us to work towards!! Nobody is perfect, we all have flaws and that’s what makes us unique. We can all make an effort to make better choices, we can make an effort to be kinder, reach out to a friend, family member or co-worker, volunteer to help an organisation, spend more time with your kids, do a heartfelt gesture for someone... There are so many ways we can be better humans and all It needs to start with is something simple each day, that you can do!! So what is it that you are going to do this weekend, that will make you a better human ?? #weekendgoals #letsbebetterhumans

07.01.2022 Happy 40th heavenly birthday Chad, your legacy will always live on! We love and miss you, one day we will celebrate again together

06.01.2022 The area of emotional health is something that I feel we have many barriers to break down in males. There are still stigmas and type casts that males need to be strong, not show emotion, men don’t cry and if they do show these emotions , or show that they are struggling, they are seen to be weak or something is wrong with them. I know that they are many people, organisations, and movements that are working towards breaking these barriers and stigmas which I applaud and suppo...rt, BUT we all can make a difference with this and this starts with us teaching our sons, that it’s ok to show emotion and be open with how they feel. As parents, don’t tell our boys that only girls cry or stop crying if they are really feeling pain. Support them in how they feel and let them show their emotions and talk about it. MEN you can also do this with your mates, talk to you mates, open up about how you are feeling, let them know you are there to talk, sometimes it can be very hard to have these conversations but little steps go a long way. The rest of us can also do our part in being supportive, being open to communication, allow our sons, brothers, husbands and friends know that you are there to support them no matter what, allow them to let their walls down by being a good listener and sometimes just giving them a big hug and a smile and reassuring them that all is going to be ok, can really makes a difference. So I urge you you to look at what you can do on a daily basis that can help be more supportive to the males we love. Just something so simple each day can make a difference to someone’s life #menshealthweek #emotionalhealth #wellbeing

06.01.2022 As much as Christmas is about family time, celebrations, spending time with loved ones and friends.. for a lot of people it is a very difficult time and I truly understand this. Please, if this Christmas time becomes overwhelming and a bit too much for you to cope, please reach out for some help, there are people who can help and we here at Chads legacy are always willing to help out.. so please reach out. Also it’s a good time for any of us to do some acts of kindness and he...lp someone who u may know who is doing it tough.. something so small could make a huge difference to their day and their life. Let’s all look after each other this holiday break. Sending big love to all of our followers xx

04.01.2022 Never underestimate the importance of good nutrition in stressful times.. when we eat an unhealthy diet, we may experience short-term and long-term consequences. We may feel less energetic, and this lack of energy can affect our productivity and stress levels. We may be less able to fight off sickness, and this poor health can affect our quality of life and our stress levels. We may be short-tempered or overly-emotional, and this can affect our relationships and our stress levels. So get cooking and make sure you are all getting your veggies in #organicgoodness #immunesystembuilding #coronavirusprotection #eatmoreveggies

01.01.2022 These are the real heroes.. the men and women who stand in face these horrendous fires!! They are brave, they are strong, they are selfless and they are amazing humans. Our thoughts are with you, with all the people who are suffering with losing loved ones, who have lost their house and all of their possessions. #grateful #ourthoughtsarewithyou #amazinghumans
