25.01.2022 At the end of Term 1, students in Year 7/8 dyed fabric in Art to use in a sewing project. They started their project today planning their designs and learning basic sewing skills. We look forward to showing you the finished items in a few weeks.

22.01.2022 Chairo Traralgon welcomed back students from Years 3 to 8 today! There were lots of smiles as students were reunited with their peers after 9 weeks of online remote learning.

20.01.2022 Do you know someone who may be interested in learning more about what Chairo has to offer? We are again running personal family tours (by appointment, with appropriate hygiene and distancing measures in place) at all Chairo campuses ... including on some Saturdays. This is a great way for families to see our kindergarten and school facilities firsthand. Wed love it if you could help us spread the word by sharing this post!

19.01.2022 We are very excited to again be able to conduct family tours of our wonderful kindergarten facilities at Chairo Traralgon. Please help us spread the word to families that may be interested in checking out Chairo for three-year-old kinder in particular (we also have limited places in four-year-old kinder). Tours need to occur outside kinder hours and certain restrictions and precautions will apply, but we'd love to hear from interested families.

18.01.2022 It has been a great week of remote learning this week! Thank you to all the parents and students who sent in photos of their learning and activities! In art, the 7/8s looked at tone and were given a few options of something they could draw while the 5/6s looked at the artist Paul Klee and his artwork Castle and Sun and created their own cubist artworks in a similar style. Dont they look amazing!

17.01.2022 Due to the fact we couldnt hold the Mothers Day stall earlier in the term, we will be holding a Thank You, Mum stall next week for students in K3 who attend on a Wednesday and all K4 -Year 8 students Mums, be ready to be blessed with some lovely gifts!

13.01.2022 Junior school students have been having a great time making dams in the sand play areas this term. Preps in particular have enjoyed the messy play and have appreciated some help from Riley, one of our middle school students. Thanks Mr Maidment for taking the photos!

13.01.2022 Year 5/6 have been having some wonderful weather on their camp in Lakes Entrance as well. Day 1 they explored Raymond Island and had fun with beach activities and today they are going to try their hand at surfing!

12.01.2022 Day 1 of the Year 7/8 camp and the sun was shining

10.01.2022 One of the beautiful parts of our school community is how our students care for each other. This was so evident yesterday in the playground when a student fell and hurt herself and more than 20 kids from different year levels rushed to see if she was ok. Students walked with her up to sick bay, offered for her to cuddle a teddy and made her a little bouquet of flowers. They were genuinely concerned for her and demonstrated so many of the values that we encourage here at Chairo. It was wonderful to see!

09.01.2022 Day 2 of both the Year 5/6 and 7/8 camps. So far there has been lots of adventure, exploring, trying new things, facing fears and learning resilience. Oh and there has been lots of smiles and laughter too!

07.01.2022 Mrs French and Mrs Russell have enjoyed hearing the sounds of the Middle School band rehearsing this term. Great job kids! We just want to thank our wonderful music teachers for all that they do!

06.01.2022 Students had fun on the final day of Term 2 learning how to make slime and volcanoes with a little help from the Year 7/8 students and Mr French. Thank you, Mr French and Year 7/8! Students finished the day by relaxing and watching a movie (with popcorn!).
