This heifer has not only a good pedigree but a great pedigree, coming from 3 generations of donors going back to Fernvale Primadonna. She sells PTIC to Baldridge Fasttrack joined 25/10/2019. 19.01.2022 Well done to Minnie vale Charolais today on a successful sale and an equal top price of $11000 for lot 4 which is sired by Challambi Leopold. A sire we sold a few years back to the Allednaw stud who has left some outstanding progeny.

07.01.2022 In British and European breeds of cattle the poll gene is dominant to the horn gene. (Bos Indicus cattle have some other genes associated with this dominance). ...If one breed in a cross breeding program is homozygous poll eg Angus they should only throw poll calves. (**Assuming the herd is pure ) Therefore breeders with commercial Angus herds could use a Charolais horned bull in a terminal breeding program and still have poll calves. When purchasing sires in this situation a breeder can select from the horn sires on offer increasing the number of sires suitable for their breeding objectives. See more

04.01.2022 We’re excited by this calf, the first ET by Palgrove Hannibal pkh1312e. Out of a homo polled LT Venture cow that is a full sister to the sire Challambi muscles who is working in the Glenlea herd. Now to DNA test to see if he’s Homo polled.

01.01.2022 We are offering 2 Grade one embryos from this outstanding donor Rangan Park Showgirl G22 a direct daughter of Palgrove Showgirl 6 in the Charnelle Charolais female sale on the 06/03/2021. This cow has never put a foot wrong with 18 registered progeny, two daughters have joined the donors CHAK12E( photo below) and CHAP25E and all have been retained. She has produced a Sire by Ascot Goldrush selling to Chardonnay Charolais( photo below) and a retained sire by G bros thin red line. We have 4 pregnancies due in 2021 which are full siblings to these embryos. We won’t be selling any other embryos from this great old cow, every embryo will be retained.
