25.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Dear participants of Chand Raat Eid Festival 2020: As the COVID-19 outbreak increases and the Australian Government and Health authorities are working to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, gatherings of more than 500 people are requested to be postponed or cancelled. At this stage, the organisers of Chand Raat Eid Festival 2020 are waiting to see how the situation will unfold in the next couple of weeks. On behalf of the organisers of CREF 2020,... I would like to inform you that we are fully aware and very closely monitoring the situation based on the advice being received from the Australian Government and health authorities. Therefore, at this stage all the stallholders, sponsors, visitors and other stakeholders, please wait for us to make a sensible decision after having discussions with the venue management, suppliers and vendors. 11.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Dear participants of Chand Raat Eid Festival 2020: We have decided to postpone Chand Raat Eid Festival (CREF) 2020 Sydney & Melbourne due to the COVID-19 outbreak increases and gatherings of more than 500 people are requested to be postponed or canceled by the Government. We will now find another suitable date to organise CREF 2020 in Sydney and Melbourne. We are planning to hold the event on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. We will find a suitable date f...or the events in Sydney and Melbourne as soon as the Coronavirus situation is controlled/ended and it could be sometime in August/September. At this stage, the organisers are waiting to see how the situation will unfold in the next couple of weeks. 02.01.2022 Dear participants of Chand Raat Eid Festival; This year, we are going through the so unfortunate period of COVID 19 around the world, including in Australia tha...t we dont feel pleasure to say Congratulations (Eid Mubarak) on this Eid Al Fitr. In the last 22 years, this is the first time that we had to postpone the events of Chand Raat in Sydney and Melbourne. We all miss the beautiful and traditional celebrations of Chand Raat Eid Festival (CREF) in Australia. Still, Insha Allah, we celebrate and continue the remarkable entertaining events of CREF again from next year in Sydney and Melbourne. The management of CREF is thankful for the understanding and co-operation of all the stakeholders of CREF, especially sponsors and stallholders. Those who had already booked stalls & sponsorship for CREF 2020 will automatically be included in our next events of CREF.
