25.01.2022 Hi all, Chantal Burchett Counselling and Psychotherapy is moving...but not far! Please note that I will be relocating my counselling practice from Tuesday 14 April 2020 to:... COMO Office Tower Suite 1909, Level 19 644 Chapel Street South Yarra VIC 3141 The new location has ample parking nearby and disability access. I'm excited about the new move and committed to continuing to provide quality services in, what should be, a fantastic comfortable new space where I have more availability for scheduling appointments. Looking forward to seeing you there! Chantal

25.01.2022 Thanks to all who have liked my new business page - much appreciated! As you may know, I've recently moved my therapy practice from Sydney to South Yarra in Melbourne. Please feel free to share my details with anyone you know in Melbourne who may be looking to access counselling support. I also offer support via Skype for those who may not be able to attend in person. Thanks again for supporting my business.

24.01.2022 Grief expert David Kessler takes us by the hand and walks us into what he’s learned about love, loss, and finding meaning in personal and collective grief. As s...omeone who has a lot of fear about grief and grieving, this conversation is NOT what I expected. The only word I can use to describe what I learned from David is beautiful. Listen to the full podcast episode and read about David's new book "Finding Meaning: The Sixth Stage of Grief" at https://bit.ly/2R0qdzJ

17.01.2022 This article offers techniques for "rewiring our brains" and improving relationships. I thought I'd share it as, although some of these strategies may seem obvious, they can be easy to forget when going through a tough time with your partner.

17.01.2022 "So wherever you've been, wherever you are, and wherever you're going, know this: you're with me still". A beautiful example of how a chance meeting or connection can change the course of someone's life.

16.01.2022 Thrilled to read news of a landmark decision in the US regarding 'Gay Conversion Therapy'. Therapists have a responsibility to do no harm and this decision sends a clear message that 'treatments' to attempt to change a person's sexual orientation are unethical, damaging and will not be tolerated. I hope that Australian law follows suit soon - unfortunately damaging ex-gay messages and therapies are still occurring here.

12.01.2022 Speak out. It's Women's Equality Day.

11.01.2022 Wear it Purple Day is all about supporting sex, sexuality and gender diverse young people, and this year the theme is "Colour Your Perception" - a simple messag...e which encourages everyone to think about the diversity of being diverse; by rethinking how they view sex, sexuality and gender and understanding that not everyone fits into rigid definitions of these things.
