24.01.2022 Containers for Change is now open and we are collecting at school. The school has been recycling for the past 3 years and we are excited to add to our recycling hub the containers for change. So you can either send in any container that has the appropriate marking on it or you can take it to Bradford St recycling depot and use the code provided in this post. C10313024 To find out more about the containers for change program click on the link below..

24.01.2022 Our school has signed up for the Containers for Change scheme. We would love the community to get behind us and use our code to donate to our school. You can drop your containers at school outside the library and we can recycle for you. So easy. I visted the facility yesterday and was super impressed. Our code is C10313024. We have cards at school with the code on that we can give you and your families. We are also still recycling newspapers.

22.01.2022 Celebrating EA appreciation day today in the best fashion...eating. Thanks to all the team who assist our kiddies to Strive to Achieve.

22.01.2022 We had a beautiful day at school today on the 11.11. A beautiful community member put poppies made from recycled bottles around on town on the lawns. Our kiddies participated in a small service at school. The juniors made poppy candle holders. A lovely moment in our day. #smallschoolsarebest

21.01.2022 Tomorrow is Playgroup day at Chapman Valley Primary School. If you have a child who is aged between 0-4 they are more than welcome to come along at 9am until 10.30 for playgroup. Bring a piece of fruit and a smile for some socialisation and play time. Mrs Luxton reads a story and does some singing with the kiddies too.

18.01.2022 The privilege of being a Principal in a small school is having little kiddies come and read stories to you, the teacher super excited with the sentence structure and spelling today and the kiddies have no fear to bounce into the office to share their writing. #smallschoolbigopportunities #smallschoollife

16.01.2022 What a busy day we had today at school. We had a check in with Kate Foster from kids hub today. Kate was super impressed with how much the kiddies had remembered and how they were so much better at their calming meditation practise. We used the sound bowl again to practise our noticing. Kate gave all the kiddies a present, something that will help them do their belly breathing. Belly breathing is the best technique we can use to get back on track, to check in, to focus, to drop anchor.

15.01.2022 What an awesome day at our NCVISSA cross country event today. So proud of all the kiddies who ran their hearts out. Charlie you were amazing, Cameron you were so determined, Lochlan you were a superstar, Trey and Tadhg gave it their best shot, Ally you shone, Clem you smiled through the race, little Cam who ran so hard and Ruben was so brave. Thankyou to Chris for coming along to support our team. Thankyou so much to our host school Binnu, who didnt even have a competitor but were so organised. Thankyou to all the people who did a job and to all the spectators who assisted by playing the social distancing game. Congratulations helen barns and kyra simkin on your superb organisation.

14.01.2022 Such an exciting day today in the Junior class. We had 3 of our chickens hatch. So cute watching the delight and excitement on the kiddies faces as the egg cracked and wobbled and then the first chick emerged from the shell. Then a little while later the next one hatched and the same excitement happened. Just such an amazing experience. Thanks Mrs Griechen
