19.01.2022 PROJECT UPDATE | Detail excavation has commenced for the raft slab for the exciting Hahndorf ELC project.

16.01.2022 PROJECT UPDATE - Work on The Hospital Research Foundation head office building is soon to finish, and so last week some of our staff volunteered to help get the project over the line. Six Chappell staff helped landscape the new premises on Woodville Rd in support of the good work of THRF and managed to have a bit of fun while at it! Once the dirty work was finished, staff helped cook a BBQ for the trades on site. Well done to all involved we’re looking forward to handing over the keys soon!

13.01.2022 PROJECT WIN | Works have recently started on the new Hahndorf ELC project. This project consists of demolishing an existing residential dwelling and building a new Early Learning Centre, including external works. The ELC will accommodate 82 children which will be a great asset for the community. We are extremely happy to be working alongside Beyond Ink again for this project.

12.01.2022 COMPLETED PROJECT | Chappell recently completed the Somerton Park Childcare Centre catering for 63 children, on a Design & Construct Procurement Model. The building is a single storey construction, boasting a large 4900mm ceiling height throughout the spine. The internal finishes were of a high standard with the majority of joinery items being made from either stainless steel, hardwood or stone. The meal preparation area comprises of a full commercial grade kitchen, including... 12 x place gas cook top. The Landscaping package on this project was extremely unique, and designed with some flare. The 2 x play spaces have balancing bars/logs, bird cages for story time, arbours with misters, sand pits, a large hardwood cluster built as the main play structure with slides & miscellaneous climbing items, a bulge water pump, hardwood cubbies & soccer goals. The play space also included an old Holden Torana Car, which had been completely gutted, a timber interior installed & made safe for the children to play in. We think the kids and staff will love coming to this venue each day! Well done to all involved.

10.01.2022 PROJECT WIN | Chappell Builders are thrilled to be commencing works this week on The Heights School Redevelopment project alongside Thomson Rossi. The Project is spread over 3 x Locations within the School, with the inclusion of a New Indoor Gymnasium, Junior School Buildings & Storage Grounds.

10.01.2022 COMPLETED PROJECT | This purpose-built retail facility was designed by Beyond Ink for Cambridge Property Group and the Fitout was designed by Evo Arc for Klose’s Supermarkets. Chappell Builders completed the base build and fit-out of the 1990m2 building, which now houses Klose’s Foodland and Cellabrations. With specialised finishes including a mezzanine deck, refrigerated display cases, food preparation zones, retail counter and showcase joinery, this is a landmark retail fac...ility for the Woodside community. The facility was constructed with structural steel and precast concrete with face brick, glazing and extended soffits. Back-of-house works included a dock leveler, amenities, staff room and offices. Outdoor and exterior works on the 6090m2 site included a rooftop plant platform to conceal the mechanical plant and a 100kW solar system, plus 82 car parks, an elevated loading dock, truck hardstand zones and landscaped gardens. We love the finished product!

09.01.2022 PROJECT WIN | Chappell have been awarded as Builder for South Australia’s First Café and Function Facility at SA's largest cemetery, Centennial Park. 07.01.2022 PROJECT MILESTONE | St Ann's College - The Chappell team are excited to have reached a major milestone in the process of removing the scaffold exposing the external facade that the team has busily been working on for the last few months.

06.01.2022 Last month during the Tour Down Under, Chappell and Beyond Ink Architects had a very special sign made to acknowledge and show our appreciation for the CFS and Hills Community in light of the recent bushfires. They helped save our site at the new Klose's Supermarket as well as neighbouring houses and other businesses along Okaparinga Road at Woodside. Lucky for us the new bike track that has been built, stopped the fire in its tracks.
