25.01.2022 Oops, I got in a little early this year! Christmas is coming!!! And it will be here before we know it I am completely BOOKED OUT from Fri 11/12 until the beginning of January ... I am starting a waiting list for those who have missed out. Please contact me to let me know your availibilty if you are wanting an appointment close to Christmas. Those that let me know their availibilty will get first preference when I have had a cancellation because I simply won't have time to contact everyone. Let the silly season begin!

24.01.2022 The cutest mani client ever My little Josie helped me pick out around 20 new gel polishes recently (like we needed any more ) SO MUCH GLITTER! Landing late Jan early Feb. Something for us to look forward to. Also, make sure you get your appointments locked in for the first half of the year everyone. I am having some time off in Feb and April this year so appointments are very limited

24.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just an update, I'm home from hospital and doing well. Thank you all for the kind words and support Back in the salon Mon 6th July, although for July and August I will be on reduced hours. This has made appointments very full. There are no appointments available until late July/early August now. If you are an existing client and you are yet to book in please contact me asap. I'm ready to be attached to my appointment book for the next 2 weeks ... Nail clients, please make several appointments in advance to cater for the longer time frame. Please understand, your first set back will be slightly more expensive than infill cost to cover tips/product used. 22.01.2022 It is nearly here! And aren't we all happy about that?! My hours are reduced to 3 days each week for all of January so it is quite heavily booked out already. If you have vouchers to book in or would like to lock in certain times for several future appointments, now is the time to do it (and it is recommended to forward book a few appointments at once). 21.01.2022 It is pedicure weather!! I am booking out FAST!! The two weeks before Christmas is already FULL and I am starting a waiting list. There are still a few appointments available between now and then though. I am hoping to be able to take new clients early next year so I'm putting a call out to my existing clients (especially with long appt times) to pre-book your time slots for next year. I already have a few clients doing this ready for the new diary!... Thank you for supporting me, keeping me busily working in my happy place

17.01.2022 Yay!! As of tomorrow I'm officially back in the salon (for good) No holidays for me for the rest of the year! Between COVID and my surgery I have had more time off this year than I EVER have before! Please keep in mind that I need to stick to a really strict schedule between clients. Even one client 10 mins late will throw my whole day out. So pretty please be on time to avoid having your appointment postponed.... And yes my COVID-safe plan is still in place which includes: *Hand sanitising upon entry *Myself wearing a face mask *No children/friends/family (unless they have an appointment) coming along *If you are unwell please reschedule, I will refuse service to those who are unwell *Please remain outside the salon until you are invited in What a year! 16.01.2022 Just a heads up... Two and half weeks off starts now! It feels so strange to be taking time off work and not be happy about it That is what 9 weeks of lockdown does to you I suppose. I will be using the rest of this week to recover but all calls/texts will be returned next week.... I can't wait to see your smiling faces in the salon from the week beginning 6th July

Sneeze screen for the nail station arrived yesterday- keeping us all that little bit safer during these crazy times (no, it does not mean you can come to your appointment with any cold or flu symptoms or that I can continue working with them) Please remember my COVID-safe policies, mentioned in previous posts, including but not limited to:... *only one client in the salon at any time. Please wait in your vehicle or out the front of the salon if another client is being looked after *no children to be brought along to appointment (unless they have an appt themselves) *hand sanitizer upon entry to the salon *face mask during nail treatments (my face mask is permanently planted on my face at all times *no bathroom facilities available to clients at this stage, please use bathroom before you arrive *no unwell clients PLEASE! Phew! It's alot to take in I know... Let's all work together to keep our community safe! Even though, it is a little more stressful working during COVID times, I get to be surrounded by all this rainbow magic each day and for that I am grateful

14.01.2022 These gorgeous girls Otherwise known in netball terms as the Forster Bakers Delight 13s. I have been lucky enough to watch them learn and grow together as a team over the last 3 years under the incredible coaching of the AMAZING Faithe Walter. What a great few years it has been! These little legends missed out on making it into the Grand Final (playing up a grade I might add) by just 1 point, so that is still a win in my eyes What a beautiful netball family we have For... that effort it was shellac manis all round, it has certainly been a busy week So lucky I get to do what I love and spend time pampering beauties like this

10.01.2022 2020- What a year! Can we just put our trees up already?? It seems loads of people are getting organised for our 2020 Christmas because the week before at Chara Beauty is already BOOKED OUT! Time to make your appointments folks!

09.01.2022 IMPORTANT! Due to the rise in COVID cases I need to update my COVIDsafe plan accordingly. If you are a client who visits this salon, these policies apply to you. Please read the following information carefully. I understand it is alot to take in, I will be sending this out in text format to those who don't use/check Facebook. *Masks to be worn in salon for all nail treatments. Please try to bring your own, otherwise I have surgical masks here for a small fee of $1.... *Hand sanitiser is to be used upon entry to the salon *Phones are not to be touched/handled during a nail service *No extra people to be brought along to appointments unless they have an appointment themselves. This includes children of all ages *Clients are to wait in their vehicle or outside the salon until they are invited in *You are to cancel your appointment if you are unwell, even the slightest sniffle *Anyone who has visited any current/future COVID hotspots in the 3 weeks prior to their appointment need to cancel immediately *Please arrive to your appointment on time. I have left 10-15 mins between each client to thoroughly sanitise all surfaces and change linen, I need every bit of this allocated time to do so. Thank you for working with me to help stop the spread. I wish these precautions weren't necessary but I fear this could be our new normal Katie xxx

08.01.2022 Hi folks! This hand sanitising station has been set up, pretty much right in the doorway from day 1 of re-opening yet people still walk past it Pretty, pretty please use it upon entry to the salon! I know we are doing well COVID wise in our area but there are plenty of other nasty bugs around. I am doing my bit by wearing a very uncomfortable face mask for 12 hours a day, changing linen after every client, wiping down surfaces between clients and hand washing and sanitising all day long. All I need you to do is apply a simple squirt of the hand sanitiser Thanks everyone

03.01.2022 Hi guys! I am so happy being back in the salon and so grateful to have had so much support over the last 2 weeks, thank you! For those who don't know I need to have some time off from Wed 17th June returning to work on Mon 6th July. As much as I hate having to have more time off when I have only just been able to re-open, I can't put my little surgery off. ... The appointment book is full until late July and I am currently unable to take new clients. If you contact me after Wed 17th June there will be a delay in getting back to you, please be patient.
