Getting to know them was wonderful and being a part of their day was very special. They were married in front of intimate family at @wattleparkchalet during the last round of restrictions.

12.01.2022 Today we said goodbye to my gorgeous grandpa. He was a trooper at 92 years of age. He was fortunate enough to be able to see/FaceTime everyone he loved and we all had the opportunity to say goodbye. The world has never felt larger and I have never felt so far away from home. However, I am so thankful my dad and sister got to be there in person. ... Thank you to all of my family who have always loved and taken such good care of him. We are so thankful you were such a presence in his life, he was lucky to have you. He was also lucky to live in such a caring old folks home. My grandpa was a keen golfer and Im sure he will be hitting a few balls in the sky now.

08.01.2022 Our caring, funny, sweet Lucia is 9 today. She has had a strange old year with homeschooling, missing her friends and family. Yesterday was a tough day as our dog woke up unwell. Lucia continues to amaze us with her caring and thoughtful nature, making sure I was ok through the sadness yesterday. Luckily today Betty has rallied a bit for the big 9 year old celebrations.
