We replaced some tired, old railway sleepers stairs with these gorgeous Helidon Sandstone step-treads. What a massive difference it makes!! ... 21.01.2022 Sometimes you just have to a full weekend to get it done. In this case - it’s the only time it could be done - while there are no kids around. A new retaining wall with the old fence re-installed ontop. Not even rain could stop this from being finished before the weekend was over.

21.01.2022 And That’s A Wrap What a year 2020 has been! With its highs and and it’s lows - we are glad to say it’s time to put down the tools and take a breather! We would like to take a minute to thank everyone who has patiently waited for us to get to you, we have been backed to backed booked since April and the new year is looking the same. ... Thank you to our suppliers who have been under the pump trying to get gates made, fence panels & concrete sleepers to site - even when stocks were low. To our kids who endured ‘ISO’ on job sites completing their school work and endless weeks of working weekends to get jobs done! We are now taking a month or so off to recoup and enjoy some long needed family time. We hope you all have a fabulous Christmas celebrating with friends and family and it’s a fantastic New Year! We got to tidy up this area - initially it had a deck right around the sides, however it had gone rotten and became a hazard. So we went maintenance free with sandstone pebbles, steppers and some gorgeous Natives to bring in the birds.

This is the very first stage we got to work on - transforming the lower back garden, and terraced zone.

18.01.2022 http:/// Its time to Yarn it Up @ Beerwah Kindy /// We love our daughters gorgeous kindy and both of our girls have been lucky enough to attend Beerwah Kindy and enjoy it’s beautiful settings. At the start of the year we were involved with discussing the idea of constructing their very own Yarning Circle - where they can discuss ideas, hold lessons and everyone is equal. Beerwah Kindy children are encouraged to recognise the original owners of the land the Kabi Kabi people, and... each day they recite their ‘Acknowledgement to Country’, which teaches them to respect their lands and each other. So when discussions started getting serious, it was a no-brainer for us .... we jumped at the chance to be apart of a legacy that children for years to come will get to enjoy, and to make it happen during a time of little to no funds or grants, we offered to provide our services at cost to make sure this idea could come to life! And this week it did!!! The Yarning Circle looks amazing! Today we were honoured to have Uncle Alan and Miss Beccy pay us a visit, and we enjoyed a Yarn where we were asked to spread the first sprinkle of Uluru Sand to tie our circle back to the lands surrounding Uluru. What an honour and privilege this project has been!! We can not wait to see the kids enjoy this space! Enjoy the before, during and after pics.

That is exactly what we have done in this service area of the home - its the main access to the backyard, a hard wearing base was the initial idea however over time, turf become the better option. Now teamed with the most amazing lush and interesting plants, this space is now one of the all time favourite places to meander and find hidden gems.
