Initial registrations will need to close this Friday 18 September, as team nominations need to be submitted to Newcastle Junior Cricket Association next week. 22.01.2022 Charlestown District Cricket Club are seeking a few more players for their Development League team, primarily older junior players, parents and ex-players. Get in touch directly with CDCC or contact us and we'll pass on your details. Registration link is below... The Development League is a 40 over competition, with teams restricted to have a minimum of 5x U/19 players per match, and played on Saturday afternoons primarily on turf wickets. (This comp will start on October 31st, is not played during January and concludes in March). 09.01.2022 Seeking Players for Newcastle Team U11s Carnival The NJCA is hosting its annual Under 11s Ron Arendts Memorial Shield here in Newcastle from Monday 4 January 2021 to Thursday 7 January 2021. We are looking for up to 7 players to help us fill two Newcastle teams. To be eligible boys must be born between 1 September 2009 to 31 August 2010. Girls must be born between 1 September 2008 to 31 August 2010.... If you would like to register your child's interest could you please complete the expression of interest form https://bit.ly/36TuMEr by midday on Friday, 11 December 2020. A trial will be held from 4.30pm to 6,00pm on Monday, 14 December 2020 at Smith Park nets. 09.01.2022 *EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR GIRLS REPRESENTATIVE CRICKET* The NJCA is seeking Expressions of Interest from girls to participate in an Under 13s and Under 15s girls representative cricket competition within the Greater Hunter. We are looking to field a Newcastle team and a Lake Macquarie team each in both 13s and 15s. These teams would play against a Hunter Valley team and a Central Coast team in a four team round robin format. The competition will run on four consecutive Sun...days from 22 November to 13 December, with the teams playing a "finals" game on the last week (i.e. 13 December).
