23.01.2022 Who doesn’t love rabbits and chocolate..? What a fabulous time of year. This mornings activity is to practice our cutting skills. We will be ripping, cutting and placing our shredded paper into the bottom of our nests to make it nice and cozy for Easter bunny.

17.01.2022 Today we are building our own house. The children were provided with a variety of shapes with Velcro backing to construct their own house. They were free to use whatever shapes they liked. This month part of our program is the letter H. 15.01.2022 This morning the little people created this egg-cellent Easter nest. Who knew Easter bunnys eggs had so many uses.. they have been cooked, taken for rides in the pram, traced around, put in dump trucks. What adventures will they be on next?

13.01.2022 After our recent excursion to Monarto zoo to see Jungle animals the children have been designing their own jungle animals in care. Todays request was Zebras. We had conversations about what zebras look like, what colours they are, what they felt like and what they ate. The children were practicing their glue stick skills and placement of zebras stripes. Outcome: 2.1 Children develop a sense of belonging to groups and communities and an understanding of the reciprocal rights ...and responsibilities necessary for active community participation. 12.01.2022 Today we explore the letter G. The children were encouraged to make lots of g g g sounds. We all had grapes in our snack boxes today-how fitting for our craft activity. The children used recycled plastic circles to stamp the grapes onto the paper to make a bunch of grapes. This was short lived before fingers and whole hands were in the paint! Wouldnt it be great to be a kid again? O.1 children learn to co-operate and work with others O.2 children are given an opportunity in play to investigate and explore new ideas O.4 children use emerging autonomy to initiate new learning
