20.01.2022 I am an energetic and experienced educator who strives to provide children with opportunities to be little artists. Through my programs and activities this inspires creativity and ignites imagination. I have been teaching in schools since 1997 and have worked both internationally and interstate however my passion lies with teaching Art to Primary aged children. The diverse nature of Art allows me to provide a multitude of inspiring, engaging and fun learning experiences. I be...lieve Art offers limitless opportunities and possibilities while enhancing fine and gross motor skills. 15.01.2022 This week in CHAT we continued with our pastel blending. We looked at YouTube for some surfing action (thought this activity really linked to the Torquay culture!) and created some massive waves adding some white paint to give depth and movement to our work. Fantastic results
07.01.2022 CHAT kicks off. Pastel blends The kids enjoyed experimenting with smudging pastels to create different effects. They then blended colours together to see what happened. We all looked at sunsets over the ocean and the colours involved on a YouTube clip. Then using the pastels they created a piece of stunning work with movement in the waves and striking lines in the sunset. A fantastic start for CHAT. X #art #torquay
06.01.2022 Patterns were our focus this art lesson. We created our own, shared them and also looked at a YouTube clip. Then we drew a feather, divided it into sections and added different patterns to each section. Everyone was super proud of their work and once again loved to CHAT.
