13.01.2022 Good morning everyone. What a great weekend for Reds We have an urgent request for our members to help a fellow club in Vic Park by tomorrow afternoon to promote a turf for their club. We would like all our members and friends to help. It promotes hockey in general as well as building bonds for when Reds need our fellow clubs to support us as well. The following text comes from Vic Park with a survey link and how they would like it answered if you are inclined to help:... https://yourthoughts.victoriapark.wa.gov.au//su/submission PLEASE SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS: 1. Playfield Street - We need to support Options 1 and 2. Option 3 and closure of Playfield Street is not supported due to impact on traffic circulation. 2. Fred Bell - All options can be supported. 3. Embankment zone All options can be supported 4. Playground - Strongly support for Option 2 (the largest playground) as this is a big win for the local community and supports the hockey only master plan option. Option 1 should be supported as well. 5. Sporting Options Option 1 Hockey and Football: Strongly support Option 2 Hockey Only : Strongly support Option 3 Football Only : Strongly oppose It does not matter if your members live outside of the Town of Vic Park as the Town Council is listening to residents and other interested groups and users. The submissions close at 5pm on Tuesday, 20 October 2020.
