19.01.2022 Yes, we were making Polish style sauerkraut (fermented cabbage) Sauerkraut is very popular in Polish cuisine. You probably know hunters stew (bigos), sauerkraut soup (kapusniak), sauerkraut & mushrooms dumplings (pierogi kapusta), fried sauerkraut and more. Today we used 6 cabbages, total of 40 kg, the biggest cabbage was 8.7kg and about 700g of salt.
