24.01.2022 To most Speedway people you say the name Jeff Leisk and you think, yes he drove a Sprintcar and owned a very successful team. But there is a whole lot more about this man and Stu chats to Jeff about how his racing of motorbikes started and the journey along the way, USA and Europe all on two wheels.
24.01.2022 While the bride and daughter went and seen some art from a bloke called Van Gogh just off Driver Avenue, Moore Park. I thought I would go and checkout some real art..... On a wet Sunday morning, overcast and just a miserable day weather wise I walked around and just tried to imagine what this place was like. Unfortunately I never got the chance to see or hear what happened here. In saying that when I stood still for a little and stared, the car noise, the crowd and the announ...cers were ringing through my ears. If only I was there when it actually was really happening. The names that raced at this place made Speedway in Sydney, they are actually to this day some of the biggest names in our sport. It really scares me with what is happening in Sydney right now with the closure of Valvoline Raceway, what will be there to recognise what an amazing place the Granville site has been. Let's hope it is something way more substantial than what we have here at Sydney Showgrounds. Personally I think it is a disgrace that there is two plaques and one is damaged. Moving forward let's hope that the new Speedway at Eastern Creek has everything plus more that we can continue to showcase Australian and International competitors on four or two wheels, to the fans and new fans our amazing motorsport called "Speedway" See more

08.01.2022 I certainly don't know the ins and outs of what has gone down nor do I need to know. But Robbie Farr is one of Australia's best ever speedway drivers, let's hope that we have a team owner out there that would hire him because he still has lots to offer on and off the race track. When I did my podcast with him at the start of the year I had people contact me and say wow now I have different opinion of him.
