There were skipping ropes, treadmills, jogging on the spot, GPS designs, rounds of the lemon tree and dusting off of barcodes - just because! 02.01.2022 Hey CBp, we thought today was the perfect day to share our next parkrun story...thank you for sharing Kirsty, Happy Mother's Day! "Hi parkrun team, I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do even though parkrun isnt going ahead at present. I have always been a runner and run in events and trained with groups but when I fell pregnant I fell in love with running and the running community again in a completely different way. I was able to run up until 36 weeks pregna...nt and ditched the Garmin very early on and coming to park run each week became a real highlight of achievement for me to get out on a Saturday morning and participate, everyone was so encouraging; some people I know but often just complete strangers. I experienced running in a whole new way not chasing times and got to enjoy the participation and meeting people. Sahara April was born last week, and hopefully by the time you are back and running we can start walking round the course " See? Perfect #loveparkrun #lovecbp #mothersday
