15.01.2022 To our dear friends of Cherry Gardens Church: There has been some relaxation of Covid 19 restrictions, so the Church Leadership Team has prepared the required documentation and put in place additional cleaning and hygiene measures to allow reopening using the 2 square metre distancing requirement from Government. We will limit the number of people on any Sunday who use the lectern and microphone and at this stage there will not be singing during the service or morning tea afterwards. We look forward to seeing our friends again in live worship after all this time apart. The preaching roster for July, August and September is now available on the Church web page. http://cherrygardensunitingchurch.org/

11.01.2022 Access to the heritage graves at Cherry Church, which date to 1852, is unsightly and unsafe for elderly and disabled people. Proposed to install: A suitable gate in the front fence that respects the heritage of the 1849 property A brick paved path past the graves and to the Memorial Wall courtyard to improve safety. Lighting for the path and courtyard once again to help with safety for night meetings New lime mortar to heritage walls which is a precursor to removing... damp in the 1848/9 walls A street light on the existing Stobie pole to help in the car park An upgraded power supply Drainage to protect the graves and courtyard A garden of Indigenous and native plants selected with the help of the Cherry Gardens Garden Club Please login to The Your Say page via the web address below and vote for our project. Only those projects which receive sufficient votes will be funded by the Government. Thank you in advance for your support. If you find that you are outside the voting area for this project, please go to the Church web site for pdf instructions on how to vote for the project. http://cherrygardensunitingchurch.org/ https://fundmyneighbourhood.yoursay.sa.gov.au//cherry-gard
