The role is open to junior and adult applicants and no prior experience is necessary! The role will involve heavy lifting, repetitive manual labour and can be physically demanding. You will be working side by side with the owner Tim on a daily basis. At this stage it is a casual role of approximately 20 hours a week on weekdays. CDs fam

19.01.2022 CHRISTMAS ORDER REHEATING INFO: Reheating instructions for our Christmas order goodies! SEITAN ROAST: Defrost, bake in the oven at 180 for 20-25 minutes. If not defrosted bake for longer. It has been pre baked so you just want it hot enough to serve! You can also slice and pan fry.... MAC AND CHEESE: Either cook in the oven in a baking dish at 180 until hot all the way through, or you can also microwave it or heat it on the stove top, whatever is preferable for you. KIEVS: bake in the oven at 180. They also have been pre baked so you are just heating to serve! They will also take longer if not defrosted first. ARANCINI BALLS: Cook in the oven at 180 (on baking paper) until hot all the way through - we would recommend checking them at 10 minutes. Air frying these would also work if you have one. GRAVY: Heat either on the stove top or in the microwave until at your desired temp. Whisking will help the consistency. CUSTARD: Heat either on stove top or in microwave, add your preferred plant based milk as needed for desired consistency. Whisking will also help. CROISSANTS: Either heat in the grill or in the oven, until at your preferred temp and nice and crispy!

We would be nothing without you and we are so grateful. We also want to address our current seating situation - we have not brought back our indoor seating since restrictions lifted - but outdoor seating IS available! ... Due to rapid growth in the last five months we have quickly run out of space in our Forestville building and need the space in the front shop for storage. 14.01.2022 We just wanted to let everyone know that we will NOT be at the Adelaide vegan festival this year 2020 has been incredibly busy with no down-time and as the festival coincides with us opening Vego’s we are making the difficult choice to conserve our energy and look after our mental health - and actually attend and enjoy the festival! We will still be open on the Sat + Sun so no one misses out on their CD’s fix but for shorter hours that weekend (will post opening hour...s next week). 08.01.2022 Hi everyone! We are OPEN today. We have reduced seating, are strongly encouraging takeaway and there are gloves provided to get in as well as easy access to hand washing facilities. ... As always, we are regularly sanitising and safe hygiene is our number one priority. We have felt the love this week with so many of you shouting us out on social media, even if you havent been able to make it in store. For those of you have visited and taken all of our precautions and changes in your stride, THANK YOU WHATS IN STOCK? As well as our usual hot pies, sweet treats, coffees and shakes we have frozen lasagnes, frozen kievs, frozen butter chicken meals and cold/frozen pies. Call or message for a list of pie flavours left. Everything is subject to availability. You are more than welcome to call up to see what is left in stock, pre order and pay over the phone As well as our freezer goods, we have managed to source some bulk staples to supply to our customers. We ordered these in after seeing shelves sold out at supermarkets and seeing those around us struggling to find their every day goods. We would like to expressly state that we have NOT panic bought or hoarded these goods, our suppliers do not sell to supermarkets which is why we were able to get them in. For anything not listed as already in a packet, its BYO container as always (which we will wash thoroughly before using). Depending on supply and how in demand these products are, we will happily keep supplying them. We are so grateful to still be up and running and to everyone that has shown us support. Thanks to you guys we havent had to cut any staff hours so far We are taking it day by day but our main priority right now is supporting our staff, getting all of you accessible food and essentials and ensuring the longevity of the business (whi...le being safe and sensible). We have had a lot of feedback from you all that you want delivery while youre isolated! We are implementing a delivery system so you can get frozen take home meals, bulk goods, cold pies and sweets delivered to your door (payment available over the phone beforehand). Contactless delivery a given and we will have a pre-order system in place. If you would like a Cherry Darlings package delivered just MESSAGE the page and we will sort something out for you! Minimum order of $40, $5 delivery fee per 5km radius from the store. We can work out a time that works for both of us. Bare with us while we try and figure out a system that keeps everyone happy (and safe!). We are still open for takeaway during our normal hours and will update social media with any changes.
