The Australia Cherry season is short and sweet lasting only 100 days, so theres no time to waste! Download the Victorian Cherry Trail brochure which lists the cherry orchards that are open and selling delicious cherries www.cherries.org.au

18.01.2022 Its been a LONG wait this year, but worth it for sweet cherries! Our sweet cherry U-pick is now open every day (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Y...ears Day) from 8.30am - 5pm (last U-pick tickets sold at 4pm). Occasionally our berry crop (raspberries and blackberries) gets picked out earlier in the day at the start of the season, so youre best advised to contact us to check availability on the day of your visit. Mid-week is especially nice to visit to pick your sweet cherries! Theres no need to make a booking (bus group bookings are essential). Your $12 entry fee is your ticket to U-pick both cherries and berries (subject to availability). All fruit you pick to take home is $12 per kg. School kids $6 entry, pre-schoolers free entry. Sour cherries (morello variety), mostly used for cooking, will be ripe closer to Christmas - well keep you updated!

We also paid a visit to Korean supermarket (Homeplus), which we were delighted to discover stocked a range of quality, safe, clean and green Aussie produce including oranges and beef. And then lunch today at a caf serving up authentic Australian flat white coffees. Korea has become one of the fastest growing coffee markets in the world with people keen to get their hands on a flat white! ........ 06.01.2022 Cherry Season is here!! Spread the news that the cherry season has begun! Gather friends and family and visit some of the cherry orchards or farm shops to meet the growers and buy farm fresh! The Victorian Cherry Trail brochure lists cherry farms open to the public in four cherry growing regions Upper Goulburn Valley, Yarra Valley Ranges, Macedon Ranges and Mornington Peninsula. Started with a visit to the Ota Fruits and Vegetable Wholesale Markets in Tokyo, which is the largest f...ruit and vegetable wholesale markets in Japan. It was wonderful to see so much quality, fresh Australian fruit and veg being auctioned off. Followed by a late breakfast with agricultural members of the Japanese Government where we had some constructive discussions on agricultural reforms in Japan. Then on to the next leg of our visit in the Republic of Korea.
