21.01.2022 on the 11hr of the 11th day of the 11mth when the guns fell silent we shall remember them

21.01.2022 The boys having a grazing date together. please excuse flynn he has grey ponyitis.... hates being groomed repels all kinds of .. well, anything that makes him smell or look beautiful mother nature has supplies dirt dust and mud and flynn is Not afraid to use them he also murders rugs of any kind. Dee on the other hand loves being pampered and rugged and just oozes look at me. flynn totally rocking the hannibal look

19.01.2022 Dee finally having a nudie day. He's dropped off over winter despite all the feeding and worming . but at the age of 33 and with considerably less teeth than he used to have were getting there. its always been an up hill battle with him and his weight . but hes a treasure. today I let him out on my lawn again . hes pretty well behaved and its a change for the old boy. he gets a little smile on his face when i let him out. and as my lawnmower is kaput temporarily hes helping me out. flynn has to stay put . being post laminatic he can't really graze on things like dee can . and hes just been rotated right before we going into exploding grass season. I know its started and that's why hes in the house paddock so we can keep a beady one on him.

17.01.2022 It's been on my mind for some time now , and I have wondered if flynn has cushings. he has lost some hair but not enough for this weather despite grooming , nothing is coming out anymore, time to get a clipper lady in. laminitis and cushings eventuate eachother unfortunately all we can ever do is manage it, there is no cure

12.01.2022 busy morning making sure everyone has water and doing morning feeds. Dee is looking really good for his age atm . This is the first morning he hasnt has a rug on overnight as the cold nights really take a hit on his weight. so its nudies all round atm. gawd..... now to go mow 2 acres of grass

07.01.2022 just wormed Dee ... and of course i had to makenot up to him with food!!!
