23.01.2022 Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy (Imp NZ) Fabio is a lovely stallion was a temperament to match. He never comes home unplaced in classic head classes and was Nationa...l Champion classic head at the recent MH&PE national show as well as national grand champion miniature stallion. He was also supreme champion miniature horse at Hawkesbury show this year. He is putting some nice foals on the ground with great natures and trainability. Fabio is a bay tovero stallion, standing at 33.5" tall. $500 stud fee. Hand serve only. Pictured are his current 2017 foals (still one to come), a grullo tobiano colt, and a bay tovero (?) filly.

22.01.2022 Last weekend we attended the MH&PE national show. Results are as follows. Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy National Champion Miniature Stallion over 4yrs... National Grand Champion Miniature Senior Stallion National Champion Miniature Classic head male Then he had a go in trail for his first time ever. He had a bit of a shy at the tarp and missed bending through a cone but he did the bridge, gate and side pass both ways amazingly. Cherry Wood Love Letters National Champion Miniature Mare 3yrs old National Champion Junior Miniature Hunter National Grand Champion Junior Hunter National Reserve Champion Miniature Lunge line Third in trail There are heaps more but those are the main ones that I can remember. 22.01.2022 Aphrodite is 268 days in foal today and really showing now... She is due in August...Not long now! Bring on my bay pinto filly with two blue eyes (A person can dream, right?) We all know it will be a plain chestnut colt.

21.01.2022 Cherry Wood Blue Hawaii is officially two months old today and very cheeky. He can already walk and trot on a lead, tie up, has been wormed and has had a hoof trim...All without an issue. He is best friends with his sister, Hermione whom he shadows all day and night. Check out the super cute pic of them snoozing together yesterday.

20.01.2022 Today we attended the MH&PE Double shot show (The same program run in two rings with a different judge in each) We were awarded: 3rd adult handler.... 1st&5th classic trot with Cherry Wood Love Letters 3rd and 5th Classic Head with Cherry Wood Love Letters Cherry Wood Summer Kisses was 2nd and 3rd Filly foal Cherry Wood Love Letters was 1st yearling filly and champion filly in both rings under both judges.

20.01.2022 What a great year. Two foals born, our stallion was Supreme Champion at Hawkesbury show and National Grand Champion at MHPE nationals as well as National champion classic head. Hermione was National Champion in hunter as well, trained by myself only and it is so rewarding to get results when you have worked so hard. We didn't attend many shows this year, but the ones we did we came home with no less than a champion ribbon.

18.01.2022 Last weekend we attended Hawkesbury Show. It was our first show for our chestnut baby. He went with his sire as company. He stood tied to the fence falling asleep and was so well behaved. Addy was admired by people who stopped just to come and say hello and give him a cuddle. He was the smallest horse on the grounds.... Results: Cherry Wood Fun In Acapulco 1st colt 2 and under Champion Colt/Stallion/Gelding beating his own sire and older horses. Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy 3rd classic trot- 10 in the class 1st Stallion 4 and over We would also like to congratulate "Rosie" Fabio's filly from last season who was reserve champion Filly/Mare. Isn't she beautiful (although I am still jealous her owner got the pinto filly and I got two colts ) Maui also went to his new home on Monday. A local family who wanted another pet.

18.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that Silver Oak DQ Aphrodite is confirmed in foal to Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy (IMP NZ) for an August 2017 foal. This foal will be a half sibling to Cherry Wood Love Letters and Cherry Wood Summer Kisses.

17.01.2022 We attended Hawkesbury show on the 7-05-2017 Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy (IMP NZ) 1st Classic head 1st Best colour... 1st Stallion 4 and over Champion miniature horse colt/stallion/gelding Supreme Miniature horse of show! It wasn't Hermione's day yesterday coming home with a second in filly 2-4 years old. Thanks to Robank feeds for sponsoring classes at the show. Thanks to Deborah Cloake for the photos.

17.01.2022 I use and recommend the Smart Foal Alarm. This alarm allows you to monitor your mare from anywhere in the world, it gives you live updates in real time. This alarm analyses your mares movements and lets you know if they are agitated (looking at the belly, pacing, all those pre-foaling things they do). Many people can be logged into your account and watching your mare all at the same time. 17.01.2022 I am thinking of selling Maui (Cherry Wood Blue Hawaii) if anyone is interested. Currently 29" tall, grullo tobiano. Mini at the moment, might go small horse?... Can be paid off till weaned. Will go grey. Could pass on dun and pinto to foals, might carry overo but haven't had him tested. Or geld him and have yourself an allrounder. Maternal Sister is a National champion in halter and hunter, sire is a national champion (Bluegables Aloha Pretty boy IMP NZ), his dam has won at Sydney Royal. 16.01.2022 2-12-17 Gem Finally laid down and gave birth to a healthy little chestnut colt sired by Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy. He is yet to be named.

15.01.2022 On the 2nd of October, we welcomed a bay dun minimal pinto filly by Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy out of Silver Oak DQ Aphrodite. Her name is Astoria and show name is Cherry Wood Cross My Heart. Our first and only foal this season.

15.01.2022 Our beautiful little Addy aka Rang Rang (Cherry Wood Fun In Acapulco) growing up...I use that term very loosely because he isn't really growing upwards much at all. 24" at three months old. We almost lost his mother Gem when he was about six weeks old to Hyperlipidemia. She was very, very sick and I almost had her put to sleep. She pulled through with round the clock care for a week and is looking better than ever now!

15.01.2022 Poor Gem looks as though she has swallowed a beach ball. She has around one month to go and I am hoping it will be as nice as Rango (Cherry Wood Fun In Acapulco) who is a full sibling to the impending foal (although a little more colour would be nicer.) Gem is having the only foal for our stud this year.

14.01.2022 Today marked Cherry Wood Love Letters last show for the year. She has been dragged from one show ground to another since she was five months old, so she is now off for a well deserved break. Below are her Achievements for her first ever year of showing.

11.01.2022 Our stallion, Blue Gables Aloha Pretty Boy at the recent MH&PE winter woolies show held on 30-jul-16. I had sustained a back injury at a show the week before and could hardly walk, let alone show, so we only took one horse. 11.01.2022 Aphrodite finally gave birth on Sunday night to a little Grulla filly. Aphrodite had a few issues post-foaling and had to be taken to the vet clinic for an over-night stay but she is almost back to normal now. Her name is Cherry Wood Leilani.

08.01.2022 We attended Black Town Show on the 29/04/18. Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy (Fabio) was champion colt/stallion/gelding this time. Cherry Wood Fun In Acapulco was... 2nd in best head (2nd to his sister by the same sire) 2nd in best trot against about 7 older/bigger horses 2nd in best foal (again, 2nd to his sister by the same sire) He was again on his best behaviour with people stopping to cuddle him and take photos with him. He is now enjoying a break until the foal and youngstock show in July. Congratulations to Cherry Wood Summer Kisses who was awarded with her owner 1st Miniature Filly 2-4 years old 1st best presented. 08.01.2022 On the 19th June 2016, we attended the wet and cold WPCS foal and young stock show. Cherry Wood Summer Kisses was awarded a 2nd in the filly foal 30"-34". Cherry Wood Lover Letters was awarded:... 1st Yearling Pinto Filly Champion Pinto Filly 1st Yearling Filly 30"-34" Champion Miniature Horse Young Stock Filly. It's hard to believe in a few months Hermione will be a two year old! (Where did that time fly?!) And Kisses will be moving into the yearling classes. Kisses is now out for a spell till the spring time as she has a bit of growing she needs to do, and our new stallion, Blue Gables Aloha Pretty Boy will be coming out and taking her place.

07.01.2022 On Saturday the 21-1-17 we attended the Hawkesbury Twilight Show. We took Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy and Cherry Wood Love Letters. It was great to see such a big turnout of horses and ponies at this show. The parking area was just about full to bursting. ... Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy (shown in full summer coat, no clipping) was awarded: 1st Classic head 2nd Best colour 2nd Best trot 1st Colt or stallion 2 and over Champion Miniature Horse Cherry Wood Love Letters was awarded 1st Filly or mare 2 and over Res.Champion Miniature Horse Unfortunately, there was no supreme at this show. Please excuse my terrible photos. I was alone this time.

05.01.2022 Gems foal Cherry Wood Fun in Acapulco is three weeks old and starting to shed. I get a feeling he will be the same dark chestnut (almost silver bay) his mother was as a young horse.

05.01.2022 We are so happy with the quality of work outback signs at Freeman’s reach did cutting the logo I designed and applying it to my float. This float has been a labour of love... a year and a half from pulling down to a frame to where we can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel

04.01.2022 Maui is almost three months old and is growing like a weed. Gem is starting to bag up very slowly so hopefully, we will have our next and final foal for the season by the end of November.

03.01.2022 Cherry Wood Cross My Heart (Astoria) also behaved herself all week. It was such a long, long trip for a baby (6 months old) and she tried her best, Unfortunately, she was too fat (hey, we all love our food, right?), and is really not that nice to look at because she is growing like a weed but I thought I would take her anyway for the experience. If she is anything like her sister, she will mature and even out in another six months. I had many comments on her dun colouring and her bold dorsal stripe.

01.01.2022 Cherry Wood Fun In Acapulco (Chestnut/ Rango) tried so hard all week with minor placings. Just not to the judges liking this week. I am so proud of how well he showed, it's a lot for such a little horse (he measured in at 29.5", the same height as his 6-month-old sister.) He may not have won but I thought he looked great out there. (Although I may be biased)
