As you know Dan & I have only been in business for a short time, however we equally have so much riding on this, its our pride, it too is feeling the pressure we put on ourselves for our endless family support that we receive and simply cant disappoint, its our hope that we can make something of our selves for ourselves and continue to establish our space in which we can take all our years of learning and preform our craft on our very own platform. If your feeling defeated as we did early in the couple of weeks, we back tracked a couple of years and thought wed share a few known truths and facts. Why? Because weve got time too! Ha! Oh and thought itll be a good reminder and fun read The emotions of nervousness, feeling of uncertainty, entering into the unknown if whether our businesses will survive weve all experienced once before. Weve been here before. Thats why "weve got this" Recall your first day of opening, your determination, what drove you to make it want to work and the thought of "I hope someone bloody walks in this door?!" and the amount of times you smiled with "yes, were open, come in..." to the walk bys of local traffic to get some engagement, get anything The front of our salon doors and bench top of the front desk never looked so clean and we ensured we dressed for success! The excitement of turning the key, the challenge to make something out of nothing, the people whom we carry with us and whom carry us, the hard work that we put in each day to create smiles and the trust, loyalty and friendships weve gained and continue too through simple beautiful and honest human connection.
