Noel, Jo-Anne, Gary, and Jessie recently enjoyed a visit from Mort & Co's client manager, Berry Reynolds where we were able to showcase Taylors Plains and our breeding herd, including our Angus, Purebred and Fullblood Wagyu females in much more favourable seasonal conditions than previously before. We highly value the relationship that has developed with Mort & Co and appreciate their advice and recommendations afforded to us. We look forward and are excited to receive our first F1 Wagyu carcase data in the coming weeks from Grassdale Feedlot!

07.01.2022 Gary and Jessie were excited and blown away to attend the suppliers field day at the Grassdale feedlot at Dalby hosted by Mort & Co. It was amazing to see our Wagyu F1 and Purebred Wagyus on feed, whilst also experiencing the extraordinary infrastructure and logistics behind running a 75,000 head feedlot. It was absolutely mind boggling experience and to witness their incredible animal welfare standards and techniques was truly something to behold! Thanks to all involved, it was a fantastic day!

04.01.2022 Yesterday marked a historic day for Chiconi Grazing Pty Ltd - we collected our first ever, home bred F1 Wagyu from the butchers! To say we are excited about his carcase is a gross understatement! Slow fed for 18 months on Riverina Australia Wagyu Grower pellets in a droughted paddock, resulted in an 800kg (dressed 460kg) Bullock ready to be slaughtered by the team at Western Butchering Co. After a couple of consultations, we believe he may have scored 3-4 for marbling.
