24.01.2022 As many of you may have read of heard on the news, the Tasmanian mushroom farm has stopped production. With the processing of compost already stopped and the final days of mushroom picking taking place now, our supply of compost is going to dry up fast. If you would like to purchase any of the awesome product do so now as we predict there will be nothing left within the next 4-5 weeks.

23.01.2022 Today only and limited amount!! We have some wheat straw bales that have been soaked in mushroom compost juice for over 2 months and falling apart. 23.01.2022 We have more! On Wednesday 29th of April we will be doing a delivery service to Devonport-Spretyon-Latrobe area if any one would like some mushroom compost bags. We can supply an invoice or bank details over Private message and you can pay for them through your net bank. We can then deliver your bags to your front lawn or nature strip while you smile to us through your window. This will help us comply with covid-19 regulations but yet give you compost for your garden.... We do ask for all orders to be paid for prior to deliver please The minimum order will be 6 bags for $25 and then $3 per bag thereafter. If this day or these areas do not suit you please feel free to message us on here and we will see if we can still accommodate your gardening needs. NWC

10.01.2022 Northwest compost have been holding a bulk compost sale to public 1x per month.... but to make it more accessible, Tasmanian mushroom compost is now available at Walters Contracting Pty Ltd located at 6192 Frankford Rd which is only 1km down the Rd from out Torquay Rd yard for the same price of $35.00 per cubic metre. These guys at Walters will have our mushroom compost available for you to purchase from Monday to Saturday all year round on our behalf.

08.01.2022 Had the great drive to the East coast this morning to deliver these guys 22 pallets (thats a massive 550 bags) of mushroom compost. Any one down the East coast after some bags of mushroom compost for their garden, pop in and see these guys!!

03.01.2022 As previously announced we no longer hold bulk sales of mushroom compost from Torquay Rd and there will never be another sale at sassafras like there has been for years in the past. We can do truck loads from our Torquay Rd yard or we can do any size load from the Walters contracting yard at 6192 frankford rd. The price is the same at $35 per cubic metre for both large loads at Torquay Rd or small loads at Walters contracting.
