19.01.2022 MORETON ISLAND RIBS & WRENCHES This morning, we woke to pink skies and the sound of the ocean lapping metres from our camp. It wasnt long before the bacon & eggs were gone and we were pulling long boxes marked IN-DEVELOPMENT PROTOTYPES from the back of the HELLHAWK. Ben & Dan started installing XXXXXXXXX on the Chief Products WK2 to test fitment and take notes. The rest of the crew took to the normal daily routine of running Chief Products (only from a tropical i...sland). Today was truly amazing, bright sunny skies, a few clouds and only the slightest breeze. Our plan while here, is to take the final product/marketing photos for the WK2 Roof Rack - so we can launch the product publicly in the next few days. I dont think we couldve chosen a better location. We started at midday with the Roof Top Tent Edition and ended with the Bare Bones Edition and some epic sunset shots. After a long day, it felt great sitting down to a plate of low-and-slow BBQ Pork Ribs. 6 hours in the smoker, mopped with homemade BBQ sauce. Add in some roast corn, coleslaw and potato salad. Theres no doubt we were feeling the love. I cant say for sure. Maybe its too many beers, too late at night, but I think it makes a difference in the product. The people you hire. 15.01.2022 WK2 ROOF RACK OUT ON THE TRAILS This past weekend, the team packed up our gear and set out for an adventure on the forest trails surrounding Mount Tibrogargan. Our plan was to spend a few days cooking steaks and drinking beers around the campfire while we performed the final round of testing for our upcoming WK2 Roof Rack. We couldnt have asked for better weather or a better outcome. The WK2 Roof Rack passed all tests with flying colours and Im happy to announce we...re now making final preparations for production. Luckily we brought Daniel Snare along. 14.01.2022 (VIDEO) WEEKEND HIJINKS SEVEN SLOT OFF-ROAD + KING OF THE HAMMERS This past weekend we ran out to the dessert with the team over at Seven Slot Off Road. Theyre putting the finishing touches on their Ultra4 Racer before its packed up and sent over to Johnson Valley, CA for King of the Hammers. This is off-roading on a whole different level. Boulders so big you cant see over them suddenly become half-pint speed bumps, barely slowing you down on your way to the top. We had a great weekend - full of whisky fuelled campfire shenanigans, epic off-roading, and more than a few laughs. Thanks for the invite!
