23.01.2022 WOOLWORTHS DISCOVERY GARDENS! We have been very busy exploring our Woolworths discovery Garden pots before adding water to our soil pellets, we observed the water moving and watched the soil expanding as the pellets got bigger and bigger this was so exciting, we placed some soil into our pots then our seed paper and covered it with the left over soil, now our Discovery Garden is ready to start growing. Thankyou to all Parents for collecting these for us!

23.01.2022 THE WOOLWORTHS EARN & LEARN PROMOTION ENDS TODAY! A huge thank you to all my families,(past and present) friends and the community for all your support. We have had a fantastic response this year with over 7,000 stickers counted and still more to count. We wouldn't have been able to achieve this without your support.

21.01.2022 " SPOTTIE RETURNS"... Spottie returns back to Meg's after a few busy weeks away to share all his exciting adventures with his friends. Spottie's adventures are a way we make stronger links between the children, home and Meg's Place. This literacy based project aims to involve children in designing and illustrating their interactions with Spottie and their families in a fun way.

13.01.2022 "HAPPY EASTER" We have been very busy doing lots of Easter activities durining the last couple of weeks, Painting, Craft, Collage, Easter Egg hunts ( Chocolate & Non Chocolate)Singing /Dancing we finished off with a fun Easter Hat Parade.

11.01.2022 " SANTA CLAUS SPOTTED RIDING A SHINY BLACK MOTOR BIKE" Santa made a special visit to the Children at Meg's Place earlier this week. All the Children were super excited and loved seeing Santa on a "Motor Bike" the children were very curious!!! They wanted to know where his Reindeers where. Santa explained that the Reindeers were resting up for their big adventure on Christmas Eve and that the Motor Bike was the quickest way for him to get around to visit and deliver some very special presents to them. (Everyone was happy with that PHEW)

09.01.2022 FEBRUARY IS NATIONAL CHILDRENS DENTAL HEALTH MONTH... The past month we had fun learning about dental health and the good ways that we can take care of our teeth. Check out some of the fun activities we did to go along with this Theme.

08.01.2022 " LEARNING ABOUT OUR ENVIRONMENT" During the past few days we have been patiently waiting and watching for our flower seeds to grow in our recycled paper towel tubes so we can plant them into our garden. We have now added seeds to our clear CD cases so that the children can watch what happens above and below the soil as the seeds grow.

03.01.2022 HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!! To all my families.

03.01.2022 "MAGNETIC PLAY ACTIVITIES" Following on from our interest in constructing various layouts with the wooden tracks and exploring how our magnetic trains attract and repel. We decided to use our magnetic wands to explore what kind of objects can magnets pick up. We made lots of discoveries where some objects were attracted to the magnets and some wern't. This led us to another activity called "Crazy Magnetic Hair". Using our hand held wands and pipe - cleaners we created so many different hair styles showing different expressions and emotions. We all had so much fun together.
