25.01.2022 Volunteers needed - Sadly we have said goodbye to some of our volunteers/committee members as their children have moved onto big school and work commitments. S...o we are after a few new faces to come early and help us vacuum the mats and set the equipment up, you will be rewarded with free entry to play gym for your time. Please remember without your help there is no Play Gym, we have been running for 22 YEARS, Lets make it to 50!!! Please comment below if you can help

This means noticing and giving positive feedback to your children when they’re behaving well. 11.01.2022 What a fun morning we had at the Westbury Play Gym Christmas Party! Such a great community event with balloon figures, face painting, jumping castle, fresh fruit and a sausage sizzle, and the all-important visit from Santa! Each child received a beautiful book as a gift and could have their picture taken with the 'big man' if they wished. Congratulations to the volunteer committee Tamara, Belinda, Louise, Naomi and Vanessa on another great year, despite so many challenges!

The Birth Dignity Survey focuses on women's experiences of maternity care so that we learn what women want & need, to understand the issues pregnant women face and to gain a fuller picture of Australian women's experiences during her pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Please consider completing this survey if you have had a baby in the past two years.

In a fantastic initiative that I hope will be emulated by other organisations, young Tasmanians... are being given the opportunity to have their views considered in the drafting of Tasmanian's Renewable Energy Action Plan (TREAP). Today, the Government released a child friendly version of the draft TREAP so young Tasmanians can learn about the proposed policy and provide feedback - so that they too can shape Tasmania's renewable energy future. I really encourage young people to take advantage of opportunities like this to have your views heard.
