22.01.2022 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support over the last 11 years... Media Release January 2017 CHILL ON TEDDER GETS SET TO CLOSE... One of the Gold Coast’s most enduring and award winning restaurants, Chill on Tedder has announced it will close its doors for the last time on Saturday 4th March. Chill on Tedder’s owners Daran and Leesa Glasgow have made a tough decision to close the restaurant after operating it for almost 11 years. Leesa said "It's been a pleasure serving this community and as much as it pains us to give up this amazing location and all the good times we have shared with customers, the time has come to concentrate on our other venture Bar Chico." A number of factors have contributed to the decision to close including a change in direction from fine dining and the costs associated with operating a high quality restaurant. Juggling two businesses with vast differences in styles has been a challenge and the opportunity to focus on Bar Chico will allow Daran more creativity and flexibility. Daran is looking forward to focusing on Bar Chico where there is a focus on new dishes using the freshest of produce available at the time. We would like to thank our customers over the past decade and look forward to welcoming them to Bar Chico said Leesa. To commemorate its final month, Chill are running some specials: - The special weekday promotion of $55 for 2 courses and $65 for 3 courses. - A Chill favourites menu of scallops + confit duck leg +soufflé for $65. - Valentines Day will be $79pp for 3 courses available from the a la carte menu + glass of prosecco.
