20.01.2022 Yesterday was "one of those days" with a roller coaster of emotions While I ws feeling in the lowest part, I joined a training from @speakersinstitute. I did... a 30 sec presentation and Sam's feedback was... "Show your strenght, show your courage. There is more in life than what you are showing". He then read this poem to me. It is just what I needed to hear... How may times do we feel inadecuate? How many times do we stay in our darkness and don't share our light with the world? The path that I chose, to be a public speaker, comes with moments of doubt and insecurity. This poem and the amazing people around me, will always be a reminer to "Shine my light", show my courage, show my strenght and express my vulnerability. @tedxmelbourne, here I come! #vivacious #happinessambassador #publicspeaker #courage #vulnerability @mariannewilliamson

Consider each word carefully before you say anything so that your speech is Right in both form and content." ~ Thich Nhat Hanh, The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching: Transforming Suffering into Peace, Joy, and Liberation lis

05.01.2022 You dont have to apologize for how you feel. If you want to examine where those feelings come from, thats up to you. But dont do it because someone shames or... guilts you for how you feel. Thats their issuenot yours. We live in a world where how we feel is dismissed, re-framed, and manipulated at every turn. We must stand firmly in the truth of our feelings. Only from this place can we live an authentic life. Only from this place can we glow and grow. See more
