We have life barriers or hurdles that we might not often be able to 'fix', but need to learn to live with... be easier on ourselves in some fashion and learn to be more realistic in other areas. Physical loss of body weight or changing our body composition needs to work very closely with our mental state. Ac...knowledging that you are not perfect, and no body is, is a good start. Re-look at the expectations of yourself and know that over time your body will change with age & situations in life. 19.01.2022 |Not Counting Calories| The thing is, to lose weight or make some physical health changes, often its the smallest of changes that can have a large impact on your journey. Yes, counting calories has been proven that it is the most effective and measurable path to success. However if you don't want to take that road for whatever reason we have made a cheat sheet or list below.... We find that these are the tips that are most useful, not in any particular order: Have your support from your partner/family This means maybe they part take in some elements of your journey or some points listed below. Reduce alcohol in take Reduce fizzy, sugary, energy drinks this includes fruit juice Move as much as you can, aim for 10,000 steps or more a day and add strength training to your plan. Aim for 2 or more strength sessions a week. Get sleep, 8 hours is great! Eat a 'rainbow' (meaning many different colours) of vegetables and fruit. Watch your portion sizes. You dont need to finish meals to the point where you are 'soooo full' or uncomfortable. Stop before this point and be mindful. Try a balance of white meat, vegetarian food, seafood and red meat. Increase your protein consumption. Meat & seafood, protein shakes, beans, pulses, tofu, tempeh, eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese, edamame beans, humus, almonds, jerky, tuna; are a few suggestions. Be consistent Challenge yourself to make the change, this is not an easy fix, there is NO PILLS, DRINKS or BEST EXERCISE. This all comes down to DEDICATION, WANT FOR CHANGE, WILL POWER. Believe in yourself and, only YOU can MAKE it HAPPEN! Charged at 1 PT session from your package. Five training programs, weekly program written by your trainer. This is the whole week mapped out + a end of week phone call follow up. Charged at 2 PT sessions from your package. Option 3: Virtual Personal Training If you know you’ll miss your trainers face and style chose this option. Virtual training, via FaceTime, Skype or Facebook Inbox private call (what ever works for you and your trainer) where you and your trainer are face to face for the duration of your session 60, 45, 30 mins. These funds will... go towards our KidzWish Sports Academy, a specialised sports and recreation program for children with a disability, illness or unable to attend mainstream sporting programs.
