16.01.2022 ATT: Visitors to CHP RSL on Monday 27 July. Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club has been advised that a visitor to the Club on Monday 27 July between 6.30pm and 8pm has since tested positive for Covid-19. NSW Health have advised that staff and patrons are NOT required to isolate but should monitor for symptoms and follow the health advice and get tested should symptoms develop. ... At this stage NSW Health have deemed the case as a casual exposure as we are a COVIDSafe venue which minimises the risk to our patrons. These operating procedures ensure the stringent application of our COVIDSafe plan, which includes collection of all patron contact details, elevated frequent cleaning and management of social distancing. We have provided NSW Health with the contact details of staff and patrons who were in the venue during the above time frame as is required, and NSW Health will be in contact directly. At this stage NSW Health require no further action to be taken by CHP RSL however, in an abundance of caution we are currently undergoing an enhanced professional clean in the Club, and we will open our doors a little later than usual today.
