When making a determination on a social or moral issue step 1 is to consider the consequences of you...r decision on everyone - rich, poor, male, female, queer, straight, citizen, immigrant, Indigenous, young, old, working, unemployed, educated, life-schooled, abused, families, single-parents, alone. Step 2 is to make your decision based on the fact that you do not know which one of these things you are. It's a tool for #empathetic leaders. When our decision makers make their determinations from the perspective of their privileged positions only, the outcomes can cause great suffering.
