22.01.2022 This morning we celebrated our annual Grandparents and Grandfriends Day with over 350 special guests. Take a look behind the scenes as our boys create artwork and prepare the School for their visiting Grandparents and Grandfriends. A big thank you to our sensational Parents Association volunteers and all of the grandparents who joined us to celebrate all of the things that make our community so special.

Day and proactive efforts by The Wynne Centre for Boys Health and Wellbeing, boys at Christ Church are encouraged to check in with their mates on a regular basis. Its all about making time to connect and sharing proactive and preventative approaches to good health, holistic wellbeing, joy, and fulfilment. Lets not wait until R U OK? 18.01.2022 All parents are welcome to come along and support our boys at the 2020 House Teams Carnival on Tuesday 8 September from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Handball, ultimate frisbee and football will be played at the Mt Claremont playing fields, soccer and rugby games will be played at St Johns Wood playing fields.

17.01.2022 This morning our Year 6 boys and their fathers/significant friends enjoyed a breakfast together. Liam Casson, our Director of The Wynne Centre for Boys Health and Wellbeing provided the boys with tips that will be useful as they contemplate their move into Year 7. Thank you to all the parents who came along today and shared some special moments with their boys.



16.01.2022 Following a week of rain, Thursday graced our Kindergarten boys with sunshine. It was a perfect day for an adventure down to the Schools River Precinct and collect sticks, build moats, find jellyfish, construct boats and test their sinking and floating theories. Now that spring has sprung, the boys look forward to spending more sunny days down at the river.

15.01.2022 Selected students from Years 3 and 4 recently participated in the inaugural Challengeopolis event where in mixed teams, they were tasked with completing a series of challenges. The collaborative initiative between Christ Church, St Hildas, Scotch College and PLC operates in the spirit of friendship, critical thinking and creativity.

15.01.2022 Christ Church Grammar Schools Service in Action have been visiting Marble Bar Primary School for the past six years. Our boys have a great time helping in the classrooms and forming great relationships with the local kids. Weve participated in plenty of different activities, including community basketball and visiting Shaz and Maz, two amazing nurses who run the local medical centre. At the same time, our boys learn a lot about local culture and the rewards of living in a small remote community.

06.01.2022 Well done to all award recipients from this morning’s Preparatory Sports Awards Assembly and special thanks to Olympian Bill Kirby OAM who presented awards and spoke on how his swimming journey all began. Congratulations also goes to Ethan Parker, recipient of this year’s Potter Cup for the most outstanding sportsman in Years 5 and 6.

02.01.2022 Last weekend our Army Cadet Unit conducted the First Cadet Field Exercise, the first conducted nationwide amid COVID. Joined by St Hildas and Guildford Grammar Army Cadet Units, all cadets worked in collaboration to achieve training objectives in Command Post Management, Navigation, Observation Posts and First Aid. WA Cadet Brigade Commander, Colonel David Jones, visited with his staff and were briefed into the exercise by our Adjutant, Cadet Under Officer David Jones. It was great to get back into the field and train that is what cadets is all about

02.01.2022 , Feeding the needy is a rewarding cause close to the hearts of a dedicated group of Year 10 ENCOMM students part of the Food Rescue team. Each week they meet to sort unsold food collected from supermarkets. The team work in partnership with SecondBite and PortCare who distribute the repackaged items to struggling community families. Through this initiative the boys have learned to identify a wide variety of produce, sustainable food practices and the value of offering hope to others.

01.01.2022 Our Year 6 boys were honoured to meet and hear from former WA Premier Hon Dr Carmen Lawrence this morning as she discussed Australian democracy and how our parliamentary system operates. The visit coincides with the boys Alternative Canberra Experience which includes virtual tours of The Australian War Memorial, an incursion by the Electoral Education Centre, excursions to Scitech, The Parliament of Western Australia and a Street Art tour, as well as a sports activity day.
