07.01.2022 A quiet moment in the CCSY Memorial Garden.

07.01.2022 We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Revd Emily Fraser as Associate Priest at Christ Church and Chaplain to Christ Church Grammar School. She will be half-time in the parish, and half-time at the school. Her role is to bring the School to the Church, and the Church to the School. Emily’s background includes parish ministry and school chaplaincy, and she is ideally suited to minister in both contexts, and to strengthen our institutional relationships. She will commence in mid-January 2021. Emily was a parishioner at CCSY prior to ordination. She sang in the choir and also spent some time on Vestry (Parish Council). I am sure that you will join us in welcoming her back to the broader Christ Church community, and assuring her of our prayers during this period of transition.

07.01.2022 Rehearsing for a socially distanced Carol Service. Quite extraordinary that we are at this point in Melbourne. Giving thanks, and praying fervently for those very many places unable to have even a semblance of normal Christmas.

01.01.2022 A big day tomorrow at CCSY! The feast of All Saints with the commemoration of All Souls. And we are open for small numbers via Trybooking. (Still a couple of places left at 8am and 6pm!) There will still be a live-streamed Eucharist, but at 9am rather than 10am. It will be available as a recording on YouTube by lunchtime. We also welcome Jack Lindsay, who will be commissioned as an Authorised Lay Minister. Laus Deo!
