25.01.2022 Our Formal Release of Information concerning National Titles and the 2020 season. More information will be forthcoming as is relevant in accordance with Governm...ent stipulations on activities. Blessings to all Matt Jorgensen CFANA Director

17.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING COASTAL NSW SPLIT We have become aware that members of the Christian Football Coastal NSW Leadership team of 2019 have decided to pursue... Christian football through other channels moving forward. We are always saddened to lose CFANA leaders, and take this opportunity to lift up those involved and speak blessing over them. This change has raised questions about whether or not the CFANA Coastal NSW program will continue. CFANA will continue to operate its Coastal NSW representative program and the pathway to National Titles and International representative possibilities remains well and truly open. CFANA, which is a specialist youth focus Christ-centred Coaching development/outreach program up to U21 Mens and with Open Women (17yo+), will continue to operate and will be shortly making some important announcements concerning Coaching for future National Titles. We look forward to the return of many of our players and families to our program in the Central Coast region. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly at [email protected] / 0401 314 160 Yours in Christian Football Matt Jorgensen National Director

16.01.2022 If you're a serious young aspirant footballer in the Newcastle/Central Coast/Forster, etc area then there are plenty of great reasons to consider aligning to Christian Football Coastal NSW. April Trials to be announced shortly for the forthcoming Rep season.

09.01.2022 OUR POSITION CONCERNING COVID-19 CFANA and its state training arms are not, never have been nor ever will be, an association with clubs as members operating com...petitions during the designated season. We are a specialist coaching/training body who invite, select and bring people who choose to connect with us together periodically with a view towards the tournaments we engage with. Currently this is the annually facilitated CFFA's Australian National Titles. Our sessions never exceed the numbers as now mandated by the Australian Govt for indoor mass gatherings and the vast majority of our activities are conducted outside. In terms of recommended distances between coaches and players we can easily ensure the minimum 1.5m guideline as is the nature of our sport and with some very minor modifications we can ensure the same distances could exist between players without compromising the competitive elements of the game as already prescribed by our football philosophy. In terms of illness, we tend to self-regulate as participants who are unwell generally (and should always) avoid coming for a run making sure they look after themselves appropriately. We encourage everybody to adhere to your association's policies at this present time keeping in mind that it won't be forever. We also urge everyone to keep your sense of humour. Everyone is in the same boat and football has a peculiar ability to bring out the worst in people at a time where disputes over toilet tissue are making headline news. It also has the unusual ability to transcend our daily lives and can bring out the heroic in participants. Concerning the Australian National Titles, we have every reason to believe that it will proceed as scheduled at the end of Sept/Oct, if perhaps not entirely as planned but this is an evolving situation and all updates will be posted as is appropriate. Our schedules and plans continue as normal with a full expectation of God's goodness and stability in the midst of seasonally uncertain times.

09.01.2022 Word for March As the Coronavirus situation takes hold around the world, there is a temptation to fear. Sickness, illness, injury, accidents, these are a part o...f living life on earth. The storms of life often rage and cause distraction and distress and whether you are Christian or not, Coronavirus, like all sicknesses doesn't discriminate about who it affects. So how do we take comfort during times like these. God's Word is still alive and true. "Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;" Psalm 91:9-10 It is encouraging to know that there is no sickness in heaven and Jesus' mission was to release heaven on earth through the cross. Let us pray and declare Psalm 91 and verses 9-10 over our homes, loved ones and communities in faith. When we declare it with unshakeable faith in our hearts, we give ourselves the best chance of withstanding the storm which like bird flu, swine flu and those before it come and go. And for those of us who were looking forward to flying to Spain next weekend know this, we will all be there soon enough, as soon as the storms pass and it stabilises. Like the others, it won't last. And it worth remembering that God has never yet struck a circumstance that He is not overwhelmingly able to deal with. And He never will. Be encouraged today. And pray for Spain, Italy, China and of course our own nation too. Let's declare the above over everyone. Bless ya Matt #livewithHim
