05.01.2022 Last auction of the year - Sold! Really proud of the result we achieved for our seller today as this is another great example of the benefits of auction. After being on the market with a listed price, we converted this property to auction only last Thursday, and ran a short 7 day auction campaign. ... Despite the quick turn around, and a 10am auction on Christmas Eve, we had 7 bidders battling it out, with the property selling for more than the highest offer received during its private treaty campaign. Not only did the auction produce a higher price but the seller signed an unconditional contract and the sold sticker went up. The same buyers had offered during the private treaty campaign, all subject to conditions that would have pushed into 2021. Auctions continue to deliver the best prices in the best timeframe.
