25.01.2022 I remember the day the tiles for The Essential Ingredient arrived I could have died and gone to tile heaven And it was an amazing moment to finally see them installed by Will Brennan and his mighty crew. Bringing a project to life is so much more than me, it’s a team effort. Take Will for example, his crew included his offsider Hamish, the tiler Josh and Will’s BIL who got roped into doing the paint job last long weekend ... There are so many other people involved too, the team at Buckley’s, Thompson Power, Chippas Plumbing, Signarama, plus the wonderful owners, the Rogers family who have worked their arses off to move all the shop furniture to one side of the store and back again. Thank you We’re not done yet, but we’re so close

25.01.2022 What will be will be Can’t control it Can’t change it... But.... I can control my attitude about it As a small business, I know these are tough times and who knows how much worse it can get. I know people are scared, and for today, I’m scared too. Tomorrow is a new day, I’m avoiding the news, I don’t want to know about all the doom and gloom, I want facts. So, I’m updating myself on the situation, but not getting sucked into the endless barrage of information. Instead I’m crying happy tears by watching the singing Italians and the random acts of kindness coming out from around the world. So, I want to provide my own random act of kindness the only way I know how... by design I’m offering FREE 30 minute video calls to anyone who wants it. 24.01.2022 Working on our new style quiz today and going through all my headshots, I realised, I don’t have any professional images now my hair is blue. Note to self, get that done. A week or so ago, I asked the question on Instagram, do you want me to put together a quiz to help you find your style? And the answer was a resounding yes.... Officially kicking off the renovations @essentialingredientorange Today we had the plumber and the sparky on site getting all the prep work done for the flooring to start on Wednesday Plus, I got to pay a visit to @willbrennandesigns to see my babies. ... Essential looks like it has been hit by a bomb right now. So, it’s hard to believe in only 2 ish weeks we will be done! Much excitement

05.01.2022 The first room of our @07sketches project done and dusted. The formal living room Brass, emerald green, black metal, linen fabrics, rattan and 3.2 metre ceilings (amongst other things) all come together to create this contemporary and luxurious space Now the only questions is what room to do next, the pool or the bedroom.
