I am pleased to congratulate Tracey Kruger as our winner this year after a very tight contest. Second and third prize money will be shared between our equal runners up, Clinton Burger and Darren Mehmet, well done. Tracey will collect $903 and Clinton and Darren $301 each. $$$$ Thanks to Deb Dyson for scoring and recording all of the tips, much appreciated We are still planning to have some kind of celebration when restrictions ease some more. These new rules are promising going forward but certainly restrict the amount of patrons in venues and time spent while there. In saying this we are looking to open in Mid October once we finish the final touches on renovations. We will also be looking to offer more outdoor spaces as that is where numbers will increase going forward. ... 03.01.2022 Good afternoon Penshurst Patrons, We can now update you on our Covid19 situation. Firstly both of the junior players for the Newlyn Football Club returned negative test results. That is a great result for their families and football club. As we advised you last Thursday our family also went for a Covid test on Friday. That meant we had to self isolate and we could not open the Hotel on the weekend. We are so glad to let everyone know that our tests results also came back as ...negative. We felt that it was the best course of action to ensure the safety of our patrons. We are looking forward to being back Friday and Saturday Night this week to cater for you. 01.01.2022 Good evening to our Penshurst Patrons, we have made the decision to close the Hotel for this weekend. Our boys played football last Saturday for their club against Newlyn Football Club. We have been advised that 2 players from unconnected families on the opposite side, have a family member who has been in contact with a Covid 19 positive as well as a positive parent. As we have had no results from the other team as yet on the Covid tests on their families this is what we ...have decided to do. We are all feeling well but will be taking a test just to rule out any chance of infection. Once we are all clear we will be back in Penshurst to continue providing take away meals and to finish our renovations. The advice from the Department of Health and Human Services is that we are not required to test at this stage, however we feel it better to be on the front foot. Our main concern is for the greater community as well as our family and believe that the health of all is most important. Take care everyone, stay safe and see you soon. Boots family
