25.01.2022 Churchill community food swap is on this coming Sunday 4th October. Held in the Churchill community gardens on Phillip Parade. 10:30am start. Bring along a little or a lot, it doesn't matter. Grow it, Make it, bake it and see you all there.

20.01.2022 Hi all. Unfortunately due to the current situation and rules regarding only 2 people at any one time. We will be unable to hold this month's Community Food Swap. 18.01.2022 Community Food Swap is on this Sunday 10:30 am. If you can Grow it, make it or bake it, bring it along to swap with others :) everyone is welcome to join in, doesn't matter how much or little you have to bring along. So many things are brought along to share. We have had everything from fresh baked muffins and meat pies, jams and preserves and fresh grown produce and plants. Crafts like home made cards, soaps and anything else you can make is most welcome. Empty jars, g...ardening items like compost, worm wee, pots etc are always snapped up too. 16.01.2022 Wonderful turn out for today's food swap. Lots of delicious goodies to be had. Cakes, pies, toffees. Seeds and seedlings. Lots of fruits and fruit jams too. Plus an abundance of herbs. Yum. Thankyou all and see you again next month.



14.01.2022 I thought I would make up a list of some of the food and produce swaps that are happening in the gippsland area that I know off, these are a fantastic idea, a great way to off load extra fruits and vegetables also baked goods and homemade crafts, cards, wool, candles, plants, cutting, and seeds.. GLENGARRY - Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month starting 10.30-12pm at the Bbq area at the park in glengarry, 1st one for the year is this Saturday the 4th.. CHURCHILL - Every ...1st Sunday starting at 10.30am at the community gardens behind the Library in Churchill 1st one for the year is this Sunday the 5th.. GORMANDALE - Every 3rd Saturday starting at 2pm at the community gardens behind the community house in gormandale, 1st one for the yr is 18th of January.. BOOLARRA - Every 3rd Sunday starting at 10.30-12pm at the railway park in boolarra 1st one for the yr is the 19th of January.. See more

12.01.2022 What a wonderful turn out for this morning's Community food swap, so many delicious items to take home. I was pretty chuffed to pick up a half dozen Chinese bantam eggs and more chutneys. Yum. Oh and the orange and poppy seed muffin was tasty too :) see you all next month :) in the mean time head over and check out what's happening in the gardens. Such a relaxing spot to enjoy.

12.01.2022 Don't know about everyone else.. but I am really missing our regular food swaps around the Latrobe Valley. I just dug into a beautiful jar of spiced plum chutney I picked up prior. Yum. Hope you are all well and staying safe. See you all once they lift the restrictions :) Celeste
