25.01.2022 This month should have been really busy for me and Id hoped to have been getting my ONJ tribute promoted in WA and looking forward to working with some great muso mates in Perth. I cant wait for the entertainment industry to resume here in Victoria but its going to be a bit longer. Currently Im talking with a group of Mornington area players about new post-Covid projects. It will be VERY different and loads of fun. We are doing a remote recording next week so watch this space. 24.01.2022 Hi Lovelies!! Hope youre all "doing ok"?? Im sharing one of my favourite Happy Hour audience photos! Recently Ive been wondering: What will my new normal as an entertainer look like??? Although I have shared with you my Live from the living room- Sunday sessions, and yes, I still do my daily practice, in readiness to resume working- Ive begun struggling to see if a resumption of my regular working life as an entertainer that I had enjoyed until COVID-19, will ever be po...ssible. Today I need to share that I am experiencing, I think, a kind of grief for the loss of the relationships that had developed between myself and my clients in the community, in aged care and with the singers and musicians I have had the honour to have worked with, in the last few years. Im also concerned for the aged care residents for whom Ive been singing regularly in recent years, that they are without the contact with loved ones they crave, as well as their weekly happy hour or morning melodies, that they so loved. This strangest of times has, for me, highlighted that my work is so much more about the relationships I am blessed to enjoy when "Im on the job" more-so than the music or singing itself... I cannot wait to get back to the connection Love to all See more

The rebranding of my entertainment business and website just got an extra 6 weeks to germinate before the planned relaunch (courtesy of the Melbourne Covid lockdown)...Last lockdown spawned a few livestream concerts which were so much fun and allowed me to connect with you all, so...watch this space for events featuring collaboration & special appearances by fellow musos, remotely of course!! Oh how I miss the warm welcome at Respekt for Hair each time I popped in for good dose of hair lovin treatement with Samuel or Alicia in preparation for a concert or a photo shoot. Tomorrow, I may have to resort to wearing one of my many wigs instead.

13.01.2022 Super happy to report that my Shoulder is on the mend. Probably only two more weeks left recuperating, then Ill be back on my skates & firing on all cylinders again. I mean, I still wont be able to do heavy lifting but given my work, I will be thrilled to just be able to wave my arms in the air (like I just dont care)at my regular song and dance concerts!!! Then Ill be bringing on the new Olivia Tribute Show with skates and all. Plus a bonus disco show so watch this space!!

12.01.2022 Id like to thank all of my lovely friends and followers who came along for my first attempt at going live. Mark and I had absolutely no idea what we were doing! It was great to have so many of you tune in. What I learnt today was A) to have a planned set list and B) to only sing songs I know all the word to. And also C) That its never as hard or scary as you think its going to be!!! Thanks to my amazing man for always being my number one fan Mark. Next time he might play his great new Maton guitarxxx

Hope everyone is planning a weekend full of music and dancing no matter if you are out and about in WA or in your living room in lockdown in Victoria and anywhere in between Ive been meaning to do this for months...So, re-posting a bite from a February 2020 job, singing with the therapy dog in one of the Dementia Care Units I worked at BC. Im longing to be able to return to this rewarding role once the crisis is contained. In the meantime I will be continuing to work on pivoting my business... stay tuned!!
