As we cant dance in Tassie wherever there is alcohol served for at least another 12 months.....anyone who knows me, knows that I love to dance. I even have 2 topiary "dancing queens" either side of the path to the front door of my house. I have done #dancinginthedark therapy on many occasions, and it is very therapeutic. 23.01.2022 What do you believe? Belief systems control the focus of our attention and thus determine what information we take in and how we interpret it. Beliefs are the big frame of any change work you do. When we really believe that we cannot do something, we unconsciously find a way to prevent change from happening. We essentially set up road blocks.... We will find a way to interpret the results so that they are consistent with our existing beliefs. We have all adopted convictions, attitudes, expectations, beliefs from our culture and social form, derived them from our personal experiences, accepted them from other people, generated them from possible past traumas and generalised them from repetition. It was interesting to see the changes in peoples belief systems from the events of 2020. A change of focus, finding out what is important, even who was important, all have a tendency to set up new beliefs that will serve you until change is required further down the track. This can come from maturity, changes in circumstances, finances etc we are constantly evolving and molding as the days pass on by. I am not the same person I was as a 16 year old, or at 40 or even at 60 and I wouldn't want it to be any other way, neither should you. My model of the world is different to yours, my experiences are different to yours, my trauma is different to yours. So lets make this year a compassionate year. Do not judge or criticize someone else as we are not walking in their shoes, we don't know their scars, or traumas. I am always willing to lift someone up, to help them as much as I can. But the years have also taught me that if they are not willing to help themselves just a little bit - then I let them go. I protect my energy ferociously - I give it out all day to my clients and team - so if I ever have an energetic vampire around then I wish them well. Its the ebb and flow of life. We only release a small number of memberships each time as they are such great value (receive between $200 - $700 extra - depending on the level opted in on - for free, to spend on any treatments and, at the highest level - even receive a discount on products). Dont know what we are talking about?????... Then shoot us an email to [email protected] to go on our newsletter list to keep up to date on our "client only" memberships. In previous releases - clients have been able to pay for their normal services and use the "extra" for some pampering and experimentation of other services. 20.01.2022 When you have been struggling with a persistent tickle in your throat all week and it suddenly dawns on you that you can do something about it - apart from the normal garlic, lemon, turmeric/honey/cinnamon combos and plenty of water - a salt inhalation in our salt room. Chance for a rest and put my feet up, if only for a 30 minutes during my lunch hour. Great thing is the sauna component is only on 26 degrees so no need to remove clothes

20.01.2022 Its a Wrap!!! Merry Christmas to all..... I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your support in what has been the most challenging and yet rewarding in Cinergee's history.... We lost our beautiful Julie the week before shutdown, and Mari heading back to New Zealand at the same time, to support a family member in trouble. A week later - shutdown happened and after a short - WTF, head in the hole situation, we emerged to re-energise Cinergee with new logos and colours, new software program, and a new eshop, along with my free 30 day Cocooned at Home Wellness Program that kept everyone entertained during this time with a number of small health changes you could do to to improve your health. Some of this was interviewing my beautiful 93 year old Mum, Joyce and some her insights into health and well-being. You can still access all this information through the FB group I set up at the time. Coming out of Covid shut-down and Tamika secured a full-time office position leaving Maddy and myself to hold the reins. What to do? Welcome back Natasha on the desk - what a godsend, it was a hello to Erin and finally a hello to Pujan - both very competent therapists......and we have a team again. It has been a busy 6 months post Covid, pretty much starting all over again with constant training and retraining. Without a senior therapist to take over the reins from Julie, it has meant I have been flat out being booked 4-6 weeks in advance for our advanced treatments - IPL, skin treatments and remedial massage. The team has been amazing though and we have introduced - sugaring, threading, revamped our henna brows and eyelash extensions and our regular promotions in the day spa. They have excelled above and beyond, particularly when Tash had a recent op that kept her at home for a week in the middle of our gift voucher promotion. I must say I am extremely proud and chuffed with everyone for pulling through the busiest December in many years........we are looking forward to bringing you more changes throughout 2021. And then there is you.....I am so forever grateful for your support during 2020. Your words of comfort and encouragement, your bookings, your purchases and friendship. You have no idea what this means to a small local business to survive in such trying times let alone thrive. 18.01.2022 This is Dads jetty. The one he built outside of their last home in Rosevears. Its looking a little unloved and worse for wear. But it was everything to the fisherman he became in retirement. His boat was always tied up alongside taking pride of place, and its where his final resting place is. Every trip down river ends up with a trip down memory lane along "the drive" to see all our homes (we had 3 over the years, one of the original homesteads was burnt down a few years bac...k) the places we visited, and the many friends that we grew up with. 18.01.2022 For those who know my beautiful 93 year old Mum know how vibrant and relatively healthy she is. I recently was involved in an assessment with her for what services she needs to keep her in her own home...... surprisingly very little - she has someone who comes to clean and thats it!! Her only other request was for a gardener to help her in the garden which is being looked into. No meals required, no personal carer to get her ready each day, in fact she is too healthy and self...-sufficient for most of the support programs. Did I mention she is 93? 02.01.2022 Sometimes, on mild summer nights, she would spread a blanket somewhere on a freshly mown meadow, lie on her back and look up at the starry sky. Then she would think about her future, which extended infinitely before her, precisely because she expected nothing of it. And sometimes, if she lay there long enough, she had the impression that beneath her back the earth was softly rising and falling, and in moments like these she knew that the mountains breathed. ... , I did a video earlier on energy and I believe with all my heart that we are connected to the earth through invisible energy (if you have seen the movie Avatar then you have some idea of the infinite connections around us). My most powerful connection was on the Overland Track. We had been racing through - in 4 days (for those who don't know its generally done as a 6 day hike), to spend a couple of nights in the Pine Valley. Travelling with my sisters and a fellow bush walker, I had had enough! I wanted my Avatar experience in this amazing place. I wanted to breathe the air, listen to the sounds, hug a tree and just be.....I had experienced the connection earlier in the day when I stopped and closed my eyes, but was encouraged to hurry on through. After lunch I didn't want to rush anymore so I sent the others on so I could take my time to enjoy the beautiful myrtle forests we were in. I stopped closed my eyes and just breathed, listening to the birds in the trees. The smell of the forest was amazing. I don't know how long I stood there but when I opened my eyes I had two little birds flitting around my feet. I had my camera in my hand but I dare not move in case I frightened them away. I just needed to be. Then one of the birds came up and hovered in front of my face just looking at me. I don't know if he was trying to work out if I was a tree or something as I had been there a while, but it was soooo magical and something I will never forget. I had my Avatar moment.
