25.01.2022 A promo I helped shoot with Media Marketing Group and Andrew Terhell. Used 120 fps, 4.5K on Red Raven with 2x 1.8 HMI to light. A lot of fun for Media Marketing Group throwing paint around! cheers Richard Williams

24.01.2022 Hi all, I am looking for a camera assistant for a short film being shot 17th, 23 & 24th March. I will be using a Red Raven with Zeiss CP.2 lenses so I need someone that is confident in pulling focus. The crew are volunteers so at this stage I am hoping to get someone that would like to gain camera assistance experience. cheers Richard

20.01.2022 Is anyone looking for office space? We have 3 desks available on the 2nd floor, 102 Bathurst Street, Hobart, above Stonewall Antiques. It is on the corner of Criterion Street and Bathurst street so lots of cool coffee shops nearby. Currently we have Mark Kuilenburg, Camera/Editor, George Goerss, audio and myself Camera/Lighting in the space. If we get 3 desks filled it would be $62.30 week rent plus approx $6 week for power. The rent includes a desk and internet. You can contact Richard on 0423 864 309, Mark on 0435 083 291 and George on 0408498064 if you have questions.

17.01.2022 Images from Celebraciones De La Gente, a Day Of The Dead Festival in Flagstaff, Arizona, USA. The performance by Mariachi Sol Azteca ranged from heart felt ballads to kick up your heels and celebrate!

15.01.2022 By My Hand is being performed as part of Dark Mofo. I found it a moving raw emotional performance by the scond Echo Ensemble. This is a video filmed as part of the development process by Matt Scott, Richard Williams and edited by Ashley Seward.

15.01.2022 I am excited to finally have a Red Raven after waiting over a year for it to be delivered! It shoots 120 fps on 4.5K and up to 240fps at 2 K.

11.01.2022 Ivano Del Pio features in Tabernacle. A short film written and directed by Alex Laird. I had the privilege to work with a great cast and crew as cinematographer on this project.

09.01.2022 Nick just can’t take a trick. On the outside it looks like he’s doing well: house in the suburbs; perfect family; perfect job; nice car; investments. But there’s financial pressures associated with being wealthy, and his kid is showing behavioural issues, and his in-laws are coming over tomorrow, and that growing group of homeless people living in tents on the park near his investment property are threatening to drive down prices... Oh, and he’s just been involved in a devast...ating crime. But that’s, like, the least of his worries. Tabernacle is a satirical drama examining personal versus social responsibility and class anxiety within the housing affordability crisis in Tasmania. FREE ENTRY. 6.30PM: Bar opens. 7.00PM: Introductions: Alison Standen MP (Shadow Minister for Housing, Shadow Minister for Environment, Parks & Heritage, Shadow Minister for Climate Change and Labor Member for Franklin) & Andrew McPhail (Screen Tasmania). 7.15PM: Tabernacle Screening. 7.45PM: Q&A. We are collecting donations for Loui’s Van (St Vincent de Paul). The short film was independently produced with a volunteer cast and crew from diverse members of the local filmmaking and artistic communities. It’s a labour of love from a cast and crew of more than forty to bring more awareness and discourse to the social problems Tabernacle explores, as well as a proof-of-concept for ambitious film productions made on a shoestring budget. Directed by Alex Laird Written by Alex Laird & S. Gerry Edwards Starring Ivano Del Pio & Sara Pensalfini Rated: 15+ See more
