25.01.2022 Rainy Sunday goals

25.01.2022 ANZAC Day 2020 has been something very unique. Thank you to our members for sharing in the ANZAC spirit and continuing to serve in our community. We are truly thankful to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice as well as past and present service personnel. Lest We Forget.

25.01.2022 ANZAC day is one of the busiest days on our calendar. Not so much this year. Covid-19 isn't going to stop us paying our respects in some way. Our principal cornet player Eve Beasley recently appeared in the Examiner, and is one of a handful who will play the last post from their driveway tomorrow. Eve is in Riverside so listen out. Stand by for updates as to what other suburbs you may hear one of our players 'ring out'. https://www.examiner.com.au//the-last-post-will-ring-out/

22.01.2022 Good news!! Kirky is now in possession of a shiny new Yamaha Neo BBb Bass. Massive thanks to Mark and the Barratts team for getting this sorted - we cant wait to get it out into the community for all to enjoy. Happy practising Kirky

22.01.2022 Band Association of NSW would love to see you next year in Newcastle, April 2 - 5, 2021 for the Australian National Band Championships.

17.01.2022 Its great to see members of the brass band fraternity rocking it in the classical space. A credit to Ulverstone Municipal and the hard work they put into their young people. Congrats Naomi, reward for all your hard work.

17.01.2022 Something to liven up a dreary Tuesday afternoon!

10.01.2022 Last night we were lucky to have an online session with Richard Marshall, Principal Cornet of the famous Black Dyke band in the UK. What a great evening, great inspiration for our impending return to rehearsals very shortly. Thanks so much Richard

09.01.2022 People of Launceston - at 11am 25th April you may hear the sound of a bugle, horn, or any instrument as the players of the band play the last post/reveille at the end of their driveways. Newstead Youngtown Riverside Trevallyn... and other suburbs. If you hear one, feel free to stand at the end of your driveway too, and share a moment of remembrance for those who have sacrificed so much. "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."

08.01.2022 Here is the latest Band News out of New Zealand, plus what is thought to be the first banding contest in the world since COVID featuring real live audiences! Fingers crossed we will able to do the same in Tassie soon!

08.01.2022 A note from the NBCA in relation to next year's Australian Nationals, and Covid - could be a bit of fun!

06.01.2022 6am had a good turnout. 11am had even more neighbours. Distant pipes and buglers echoing across Trevallyn

02.01.2022 Hi all - it has been a long time between drinks - but we are still awaiting clearance and plans to use our band-room - we are still beavering away on some cool stuff for later in the year - so watch this space
