24.01.2022 SOCIAL COMP PLAYER REGOS DUE THURSDAY Due to the need for team QR codes (for sign on purposes) to be created for each team this season, we ask that all players (for all our mixed, mini, junior, mens and womens social comps) complete their online player registration by this Thursday. This will allow all registered player names to be viewable on the team QR code sign on, making for a much easier sign on process for all teams.... We ask that all team delegates kindly chase up players in their team who are yet to register.

23.01.2022 U18 JUNIOR REP TRIAL TIME CONFIRMATION On Sunday our club emailed junior players currently registered in this years social competition with information about ou...r junior rep trials, which incorrectly stated the start time for U18 trials to be 6.30pm. Please note that was a typo. The U18 trials this evening will commence at 6.00pm at Waratahs. Our club apologies for the time error in the email distributed on Sunday.

21.01.2022 JUNIOR REP TRIALS (U10 & U16) TODAY Our second lot of junior rep trials will be held today at Waratahs Sports Ground, with our U10 and U16 divisions trialing. Please see today's trial schedule below. 4.30pm - Boys & Girls U10 (players born 2011 or 2012)... 6.00pm - Boys & Girls U16 (players born 2005 or 2006) For all players and parents attending, please ensure you do the following: Arrive no earlier than 15 mins prior to the trial. All players & parents to check-in upon arrival at touch shed. One parent per player only to attend. Players please bring your own water bottle and wear a numbered playing top (if possible). Parents must adhere to social distancing during the trial. Any U8 Girls who attended our trial yesterday are welcome to attend the U10 Girls trial today at 4.30pm if they wish. We are expecting a good turn-out for all our trials and where possible we will be selecting development teams this year, so plenty of opportunity for the kids to get involved with our junior rep teams

20.01.2022 SUPER SERIES PLAYER OF THE SERIES LEADERBOARD After 4 rounds, the Struddys Super Series Player of the Series leaderboard is heating up. In the Mens Series, Hulk's star Ben Blimka is leading the pack, closely followed by Captain America's one-two punch combo of Dylan Ryan and Keegan Harding. Young guns Jack Cole from Wolverine and Nick Murphy from Superman are just behind the top three.... In the Womens Series, there's plenty of sisterly rivalry in the top spots, with names like Clarke, Banks and Gibson featuring prominently. Black Panther's Josie Clarke has a 3-point lead after 4 rounds, ahead of Lilly Baker from Hulk and Keeley Thornhill from Black Panther. Wolverine's Hope Gibson is not far off the pace, nor are youngsters Millie Banks from Wolverine and Lilly Clarke from Captain America. Just three more rounds before the leaderboard goes behind closed doors. Who's going to take out the Player of the Series?

19.01.2022 RD 4 SUPER SERIES RESULTS Round 4 of our Mens Struddys Super Series saw Hulk remain undefeated in the Series, disposing of Captain America 5-2. Superman have now jumped to outright second after defeating Wolverine 6-3, while Iron Man powered by Black Panther convincingly 7-2. In the Womens Super Series, two hotly contested matches were produced, with Wolverine keeping the top spot on the ladder defeating Black Panther 5-4. Captain America are close behind them in second a...fter getting by Hulk 4-3. The Super Series ladder after 4 rounds looks like this: MENS Hulk (12 pts), Superman (10 pts), Captain America (8 pts), Wolverine (8 pts), Iron Man (6 pts), Black Panther (4 pts). WOMENS Wolverine (11 pts), Captain America (9 pts), Black Panther (7 pts), Hulk (5 pts).

17.01.2022 Just a reminder to all players participating in the Struddys Super Series that this competition does not commence until Thursday 29 October. An information email to all players in this competition will be sent out in the next 24 hours. All other Mens and Women’s social competitions will commence this evening at Waratahs Sports Ground.

16.01.2022 Pie Orders! A reminder for all junior rep players that pie orders and money are due back no later than Wednesday 21st October. These can be handed in at the touch shed tonight, to your coach or manager or to our canteen on Wednesday afternoon.

14.01.2022 DATES & TIMES FOR MINI & JUNIOR SOCIAL COMPETITION GAMES Please see below information and photos relating to the dates and time slots for our Mini (U6, U7, U8, U9) and Junior (U11, U13, U15) social competition games this season. All mini social competitions will commence Wednesday 14 October 2020. There will be 10 rounds with games being played each Wednesday at either 4.30pm or 5.05pm at Waratahs Sports Ground. The final round for all mini social competitions will be W...ednesday 16 December 2020. There are no finals for mini social competitions. All junior social competitions will commence Wednesday 14 October 2020. There will be 14 rounds with games being played each Wednesday at 5.40pm, 6.15pm, 6.50pm, 7.25pm or 8.00pm (we have added time slots due to current COVID restrictions). There will be a break between Rd 10 and Rd 11 for xmas/school hols. The finals series for junior social competitions will commence Wednesday 3 March 2021 and Grand Finals will be held on Wednesday 17 March 2021. All games will be at Waratahs Sports Ground. Our club are currently working on our social competition draws for all minis and juniors. These will be released in the coming weeks.

11.01.2022 REFEREE DUTIES FOR ROUND 1 Please go to https://orangetouch.com.au/referee-duty/ to view the referee duty allocations for Mixed and Opens competitions for our Round 1 games. Remember teams that complete all of their referee duties throughout the season will earn 3 additional competition points.

11.01.2022 As our social competitions commence this week, just a few simple reminders we’d like to pass onto all players and spectators to ensure our competitions remain safe for all. Players please arrive fully dressed to games and go straight to your field no sooner than 10 mins prior to your game. Please bring your own water bottle, teams cannot share water bottles due to COVID. Please ensure you’re registered prior to playing. The registration is done online and please talk to... your team delegate if you haven’t registered yet. All team delegates please come to the touch shed 10 mins prior to your first game and collect your QR code sign on card, which you’ll use all season to sign on your players each week before games. All spectators must sign in using the QR code poster which will be at entry points including under AFL shed awning, under touch shed awning and near the outside beer garden. Spectators need to sign in every time they attend our games and please ONE SPECTATOR only per player. Following games, congratulate your opponents but please remember no high fives or hand shaking. After games all players and spectators are to leave the venue in a timely manner to allow the next time slot to come onto the fields. We ask that referees including ref duties please bring your own whistle. We cannot share whistles due to COVID. Please ensure you make use of the hand wash stations which will be located at various points around our venue. And above all else, have fun playing Touch Football this season.

10.01.2022 RD 2 SUPER SERIES RESULTS Round 2 of our Mens Struddys Super Series saw Hulk and Capt America remain undefeated. Hulk put the flex on Wolverine 7-5, thanks to a six-try haul from Hulk skipper Ben Blimka. Capt America proved too good for Iron Man 7-3, while Superman flew home against Black Panther 4-3 in a tight encounter. In the Womens Super Series, the points were split in both games, with Hulk and Wolverine, along with Capt America and Black Panther both finishing their... games 2-2. Round 3 matches will see Iron Man vs Hulk, Black Panther vs Wolverine and Superman vs Capt America in the Mens Super Series. For the Womens Super Series, we will see Hulk vs Black Panther and Capt America vs Wolverine in a top of the table clash.

08.01.2022 RD 3 SUPER SERIES RESULTS Round 3 of our Mens Struddys Super Series saw three close matches, with Hulk defeating Iron Man 3-2 to remain the only undefeated team in the competition. In other games, Wolverine slashed past Black Panther 2-1, while Superman disposed of Captain America 4-3. In the Womens Super Series, Black Panther produced their best game of the season so far defeating Hulk 2-1, while Wolverine beat Captain America 5-1.... Round 4 matches will see Black Panther vs Iron Man, Wolverine vs Superman and Hulk vs Captain America in the Mens Super Series. For the Womens Super Series, we will see Wolverine vs Black Panther and Captain America vs Hulk.

The finals series will commence Thursday 11 March 2021 and Grand Finals will be held on Saturday 20 March ...2021 (joint Saturday GF for all Super Series and social competitions). As the Super Series in being run in conjunction with our mens and womens social competitions, our club will avoid clashing Super Series games with our top division social competition games. Our club are currently working on our Struddys Super Series draws and these will be released in the coming weeks.

07.01.2022 INFO FOR ALL SOCIAL COMP TEAM DELEGATES As we draw closer to the start of our social touch competitions, it is important for all team delegates to urgently contact their players and ensure they register ASAP for this year's social competition. All mixed, mens & womens social competition teams will require a minimum of 10 players to be registered.... Our club will be sorting out competition draws in the coming week and if any teams DO NOT have enough players registered, they may risk not being able to play this year. We apologise for any teams unable to register, but these restrictions are out of our control and are necessary to operate our competitions in a safe environment for our members.
